“What? Brad’s birthday party?” Malia asked. Though, She had a happy face Her mind was still troubled. She was devastated on what outcome the party would bring between the love triangle that none of them knew about.
“I can’t wait, I’m gonna wear my segziest outfits” Elle giggled.
“You always did. Don’t bother reminding us” Samantha chipped in.
They were still making fun of each other when they heard Malia’s deep sigh.
“Hey, Girl. Are you okay? Don’t you wanna go to the party. Remember, Blaze is there” Elle smiled giving Samantha a wink. Samantha smiled heartily.
“Ma, Are you okay? You seemed to be in thoughts earlier” Samantha commented.
“No, It’s fine… I’m just kinda worried about huh.. the present I should give him” She was swift in answering the question.
“Oh, Geez. Why didn’t I think of that. Girls, Let’s get something for him” Samantha said.
“Like what? Shoes?” Elle asked
“No, He has a lot of that. Let’s get him something he doesn’t have” Samantha chuckled
“I like your idea but what in particular? I’m quite confused” Malia said
“Me too, What do you think Sam?” Elle asked
“Huh, I guess I’m embarrassed to say I’ve nothing on my mind” Samantha commented as they jokingly laughed.
“Oh! I just remembered!” Malia chuckled
“What? Tell me” Samantha replied anxiously
“Let’s ask the smartest girl in your house”malia retorted
“What? Who’s that?–Hey! Don’t expect me to ask that witch” Samantha exclaimed
“Let’s just ask her…You know Carly got brains”Elle smiled
30 MINUTES LATER**

“So, What do you guys want?” Carly asked staring back at the six pair of eyes that looked at her. She was seated in the middle of them. She kept her straight stern look and bent her eye brows. They just continued staring without answering.
“What is it? Won’t you answer? I’m gonna leave” Carly warned trying to leave.
“Wait– Samantha retorted holding onto her short arm. Samantha was quite embarrassed and coughed slightly.
“Huh, We wanna ask you something” Samantha blurted out.
“Okay, Go on. I’m all ears” Carly replied slowly taking her bottom to the wooden seat.
“Huh. Actually,, A friend of mine is having his birthday soon and we want to get something for him but he has everything we have thought about. Do you have any unique ideas?” Samantha asked
“He has everything huh?” Carly asked moving her eyes to the ceiling.
“Yeah” Malia chipped in.
“Is he single?” Carly asked
“What? Single? Does that Matter?” Samantha asked scoffing loudly. She turned her gaze to Carly.
However, Carly wasn’t joking. Instead, Her look was hell! She was so serious that you wouldn’t notice her eyes blinking. Samantha felt embarrassed and coughed out her scratchy throat.
“Huh, Yeah… He’s single” She replied sharply breaking the never ending silence.
“What he needs now is a Girlfriend” Carly replied wearing a thick smile.
“What? Girlfriend? Can you be serious? What do you mean?” Samantha asked
“Unnie, You are really annoying! Should I go?” Carly yelled.
“Hey! Why do you have to yell at–
“It’s enough! Carly, Please Continue” Malia calmly commented.
Carly smiled and faced her.
“He doesn’t have something…..A Girlfriend,, All he needs is that” Carly smiled
“That means we are gonna set him up on a date?” Malia asked. Carly nodded.
“But who will be his date?” Elle asked
“Maybe Malia?” Carly asked. They all turned to look at her.
“What?,, Carly… Now, I know she’s talking trash… You can leave, Carly.. Yes! Bye! Thank you for the advice!”malia said as they watched Carly storm out of the restaurant angrily.
“More like an unreasonable advice. Let’s do this instead Girls?” Elle asked
“What?” Samantha and Malia asked simultaneously as they stared at Giselle curiously.
“Well, Let’s just get the birthday present on our own. Anything you can get, You guys will give it to him on that day sepreratly. What do you think?” Elle asked
“Yeah, I guess you are right. I’m also curious on the gift he might like best”Samantha chipped in as Malia laughed
THE DAY BEFORE THE PARTY**
“Carly. Which top is prettier, I mean better? This or–This?” Samantha asked holding two good expensive men shirts.
“Just take one. Why do you bother?” Carly asked
“I’m trying to impress someone” Samantha smiled
“Who?” Carly asked
“Just someone”
“Don’t tell me it’s him?”
“What? Who?”
“Your crush?”
“What’s this? Did I ever tell you I was crushing on someone?”
“I just guessed” Carly laughed. “But it seems I’m right too…Okay, This one is better. He’s definitely gonna love it” Carly added winking. Samantha looked at the shirt her sister picked and smiled.
