Chapter 49&50
” Prince yeon almost died today but thanks to his trusted guard he survived the attack , it was confirmed that a bomb was planted in the crown prince car… ”
Prince Duri , hwan and the dowager were staring at the tv screen , the dowager eyes were already and she grit her teeth while pacing to and fro at the ball room .
“My queen the prince is on his way home ” Mun who just got off a call said and put his phone inside his pocket , the dowager turn to Duri who bite his lips nervously. His heart throb fast while hwan was weirdly calm about the whole thing .
“Duri ” the dowager called slowly and Duri look up at her
” Why are you staring at me like that mother ” he asked but she scoff and fold her hand behind her back and just then the entrance door flung open and yeon walk in along with Lee .
“Yeon ” the dowager called and rush up to him .
“Call a doctor ” she dowager yelled and mun nodded and walk away ,she held her son hands with a worry look .
“Who the hell did this I swear am gonna ki|| that person ” the dowager holler while breathing hard
“I know who is behind this mayhem ” yeon said , Duri and hwan quickly look up at him only to find yeon staring at them with a smirk . Duri clinch his fist and quickly a glance at hwan who gulp down but try hard to maintain her cool .
“Who ” Duri managed to say and step forward ,Lee who is behind yeon was lost in thought while staring at them
“Who son ,tell me who did this and I will make that person pay ” the dowager grit her teeth and yeon took his gaze away from Duri and he push his left hand into his pocket .
” Get me the palace gardener” yeon said
” You heard him go get the palace gardener” the dowager yelled and 5 guards bow and rush out .
“But how sure are you that the gardener is behind this ” hwan ask yeon who chuckled and slowly walked towards a statue of a warrior holding a sword .
” Am mysterious hwan I know things people don’t “yeon said while staring at the statue , Duri ,hwan , the dowager and Lee just stared at yeon who is backing them.
A tall lanky man wearing an old tattered brown jacket and black trouser was lead in to hall by the guards , the moment the gardener saw yeon he flinch and quickly went on his knees .
“Please spare me your highness ” he cried and bow his head ,the dowager got close to him but he dare not look up at her .
“Look up ” she command but he didn’t move he kept his head bow
“I said look up ” she yelled and gardener slowly look up and she slap his face so hard that he fell flat on the floor . A guard behind grab the gardener and force him up
“Ahhh please forgive me I only did it for the cash , my daughter is battling with lungs cancer I needed the money for…” The man flinch when the dowager raise her hand to slap him
“Stop mother ” yeon yell and her hand was left hanging on the air , yeon walk forward and she slowly brought down her hand and turn to him .
” You bastard how dare you try to ki|| the crown prince , who the hell hired you “hwan ask .
” What’s she doing ,she seems too calm about this $h|t . This old fool might expose us and am sure mother won’t take it kindly with us ” Duri thought and swallow hard .
” Am sorry about your daughter condition and I promise to let you live because of her , just tell me who hired you to plant the bomb in my car “yeon said and the gardener lips tremble and so did his body while he rubbing his palm together .
” Are you gonna talk or you want to get the truth out ” hwan yelled and step closer .
” Hwan ” Duri called with in a warning tone , the gardener stared deep into hwan eyes and he open his mouth to speak but instead he cough and blood squirt out of his mouth an it splash on hwan face and cloth .
“Ahhhh my God ” hwan scream and move back , Duri quickly pull her close to himself . The gardener fell on the floor gasping for breath as blood gush out of his mouth and nose , yeon quickly knelt beside him .
” No no say something ,why paid you to eliminate me ” yeon yelled
The gardener tried to say something but nothing came out aside from his whimper sound , hwan eyes widen when the garden tried to point his index finger at her and duri . She quickly rush forward and knelt beside the gardener
“Hey don’t die spill it out , who paid you ” she pretentiously ask and stylishly push the gardener hand down. Tears roll down the man eyes and he gave up the ghost , yeon sigh and stood up .
” Gush what just happened” Duri ask and yeon scoff and look down at his bloody hand ,he took a glance at the hwan who is still kneeling beside the dead gardener .
” It seems who ever hired him already poison him in order to cover his track , haha how smart” yeon said and look up at his mother then at Duri .
” I will be in my room mother ” yeon sand walk away and Lee quickly rush behind him ..
