*MIDNIGHT*
AVERY’S POV
I’m still on the bed with Rex who’s already asleep, holding my hand tightly. Restricting from leaving.
I couldn’t sleep after what just happened. I’m supposed to be sad and crying because Rex kinda rape me but I enjoyed it.
Rex is such a big pervert and if Gianna finds out about this, she’ll ki|| me. How would I face her? Or the world tomorrow?
I have to get out of here, because I know Rex will still use the video to take advantage of me.
I managed to gently remove my hand from Rex, stood up quietly, wore my clothes and tiptoed out of the room.
I went down stairs, the party is still going on. Some are already having segz. Ew.
I have no idea where Gianna is but I hope she won’t see me.
I left the party and stood at the main road, stopped a taxi car, entered and he drove off to my house.
I entered the house, headed straight to my bedroom and brought out my big black luggage and opened it on the bed.
I opened my wardrobe and started packing my clothes into the luggage. I’m not ready for any embarrassment tomorrow.
I’m not ready to face anyone, especially Rex and Gianna.
“Avery?” Aaron called as he entered the room, looking tired and confused “What’s going on? What’s with the luggage?”
“Aaron, I’m leaving for Damville.” I said.
“But I thought you said next week.” He said.
“Well, I just got a call from SunLake that I should go and make some registrations.” I lied.
“I know you’re lying, you scratch your fingers when you lie.” Aaron said.
I let go of my fingers immediately, feeling nervous that he got me.
“Are you leaving me? Why do you look so messy?” Aaron asked.
Urgh! This spoilt idiot with questions.
“Nothing, it’s just…”
“You’re about to lie to me again.” He said.
I noticed I’m scratching my fingers again, I let go. I sat on my bed, Aaron sat beside me.
I sighed sadly “Look, here’s the truth. You know last week when you broke the museum vase and I stole dad’s gold to repay it.”
Aaron nodded “Yeah.”
“Rex got a video of it on his phone and he blackmailed me to have segz with him.” I explained.
“What?!” Aaron exclaimed “Wait, Rex, Gianna’s boyfriend?”
I nodded “Yeah.”
“How could he? What did you do?” Aaron asked.
“I tried to get his phone and delete the video but it didn’t work, then he trapped me and have segz with me.” I said bitterly.
Aaron looked deep in shock, paused for some second.
“That bastard!” He muttered angrily.
“Aaron don’t do anything stupid, that’s why I’m leaving to protect our family image.” I pleaded.
Aaron stood up and stormed out of the room angrily.
Oh no! Why did I tell him? He’s gonna do something crazy. I have to get out of here.
I packed all the things I need inside the luggage, covered and closed the luggage. Left the mansion and entered my black latest Corolla car and drove off.
Bye, Crownsberg, for now. I have to leave now to escape the shame and Rex. It’s sad, I didn’t have to say goodbye to my dad, brother and best friend but it’s for the best.
*THE NEXT MORNING*
REX’S POV
I woke up, smiling because I’m actually happy that I had segz with the love of my life.
I know I forced her and I kinda regret it, but she didn’t seem to h@ťě it.
She enjoys it and I think she feels the same as I feel for her.
I rubbed the bed bed to hug her but I can’t feel her. I sat up right and noticed she’s gone.
I frowned “Avery?”
I stood up, wore my clothes and left the bedroom, checked other rooms, she’s not there.
“Avery?” I called as I entered the room where I put Gianna. She’s not there.
“Mmm.” Gianna sighed as she woke up and sat up right, squeezing her face “What happened last night?”
I felt a bit scared “Uhhh…”
“I mean all I can remember is when we left the prom Hall, that’s it? What happened? Didn’t we had our first great segz?” Gianna asked.
Well, I had a great segz with Avery but where is she? I need to find her.
“Well, we didn’t.” I said.
Gianna stood up angrily “What? Why?”
“Because you fell asleep all of a sudden when we supposed to have our first segz, I didn’t want to bother you that’s why I left you alone, you ruined our prom night. You’re such a sleeping freak.” I lied.
“Well, I’m sorry if I ruined our prom night but can’t you just sleep with me like that?”
“So people will think that I took advantage of you? Brilliant.” I said sarcastically.
Gianna sighed sadly as she sat on the bed “All I wanted for us is to have our perfect intimacy on prom night and I ruined it because I’m a sleeping freak. I don’t wanna sleep any more.”
I scoffed “Whoa! Calm down girl. We can make this up.” I said as I sat beside her.
“How?” Gianna groaned.
I can’t sleep with her now or ever because I don’t love her.
“How about we go on an expensive date at Davis Burger.” I suggested.
Gianna looked excited “Really? When?”
“Tomorrow, I promise.” I said, feeling unserious.
Gianna smiled “Yay! That’s my baby!” She squealed as she pecked my lips “I have to shower, wait for me.”
She stood up and entered the bathroom.
I have to see Avery, where the f×ck is she?
I stood up and walked out of the bedroom, left the hotel, entered my Porsche and drove off recklessly.
Why did I feel Avery left me?
GIANNA’S POV
I got undressed and I turned on the shower which is raining on me.
I don’t know what has gotten int Rex this days? Did I do anything wrong or it’s because of my bossiness? Maybe I should change that.
I wonder how Avery is doing. Poor girl. I didn’t even care about where she’s going to sleep, I was too busy thinking about Rex and me, but I know she can take care of herself.
I turned off the shower, wore my white robe, came out of the bathroom and went back to the bedroom.
I frowned as I can’t find Rex in the bedroom. Where did he go? I told him to wait for me, now he’s gone.
“Urrgghh!!!” I groaned angrily as I sat on my bed.
How could get do this to me? He didn’t wait for me. Where did he go?
I don’t know why, but I feel there’s something going on between Avery and Rex?
I hope it’s not what I’m thinking but Avery is my best friend since childhood, Rex and I have been together since the past 5 years so that’s impossible.
I have to talk to Avery. I took my phone and dialled Avery’s number. It rang, expecting her to pick up but she didn’t answer. Why?
She always answer my calls. That’s weird.
REX’S POV
I arrived at Avery’s mansion, parked my car in front of the gate.
I came out of my car and went straight to the entrance door. I don’t know how to face but I have to.
I pressed the door bell. It rang, waiting for her to come out.
The door was opened, I was expecting Avery but it’s her brother.
I smiled “Aaron, what’s Argh…!”
A painful punch landed on my face and I staggered.
“Ow! What’s that for?” I winced, as I felt blood in my nose.
Aaron looked mad and furious at me. Does he know about last night? Where’s Avery?
“Get out!” He grunted angrily.
“Where’s Avery?” I asked, not caring about his feelings.
“Didn’t you just hear what I said? Get out! You motherf×cking rapist.” Aaron yelled.
“Excuse me?”
“How could you do this to my own sister? For God sake you have a girlfriend, what else did you want?” Aaron complained making me to feel guilty.
I sighed sadly “Look I’m sorry, please, just let me see Avery and fix everything, I…”
“I said get out! N*gga!!!” Aaron pushed me, he raised his hand to punch me again and I grabbed his wrist angrily.
“I gave you a chance to hit me but now, don’t even think about it. We’re not the same age.” I warned.
Aaron yanked his hand off, glaring at me “Just go away, I don’t even want to see your face anymore, especially around my sister.” He said angrily as wanted to close the door.
I held the door immediately, feeling and looking sad “Aaron please, help me. I’m sorry if I hurt you but please I need to talk to her. If I didn’t at least see Avery, I wouldn’t be myself. I know I hurt her so I wanna make up to her.” I explained.
Aaron sighed “I’m sorry dude, but Avery’s gone.”
I scoffed confusedly “What did you mean she’s gone? I don’t understand.”
“I’m sick of talking to a motherf×cker like you, bye.” Aaron said monotonously.
“But…”
He slammed the door on me.
What did Aaron mean Avery’s gone? Where did she go? She left me.
I know I didn’t deserve her but I need her. I really love her, last night was the best night of my life.
I need to look for her.
