Suddenly she felt a hot breath on her neck ,behind her and she flinched.
“Why don’t you try that? Trust me, Blue eyes, it’s delicious” Axel’s voice came behind her.
Anna almost felt like puking at his words. She turned back and pushed him backwards. She scoffed when she noticed he was still putting on a mask though his pretty gray eyes were visible.
“I’m not a monster like you” She yelled at him.
“Blue eyes, Have you forgotten that your father is a vampire and your mum a werewolf”
Anna’s eyes dimmed.
“How did he know that?” She thought. Meanwhile Axel’s gaze was her, he was trying to read her thoughts but nothing was happening.
“My father respects humans, he doesn’t drink their blood!” Anna firmly stated.
Axel’s scoffed and shook his head.
“You’re really dumb right..” Axel said taking slow strides towards her while she just stood there glaring at him.
“I’m sure your father lied to you. No Vampire is a saint..”
Anna clenched her fists. He murdered her parents and now he had the guts to talk ill of them.
“My Dad is never a liar!” She rasped at him and he scoffed.
He moved closer to her and smirked.
“Does it feel bitter hearing the truth that your Dad is a monster?” Axel asked waiting for her response.
“You ki||ed my parents and you are still bad mouthing him. How dare you!” She yelled and raised her hand to hit him but he immediately caught and then he saw something flash in her eyes and immediately Axel’s expression changed and he slowly dropped her hand down while Anna breathed heavily unaware of what happened to her earlier.
Anna stared at him awaiting her punishment but he just dropped her hand and stared at her for some seconds before he looked away.
“You can cook something for yourself to eat” Axel said and Anna looked at him surprised.
“What happened to him? Even his voice changed, it didn’t hold the usual coldness and it was unusually calm. Could something be wrong with him?!” Anna thought.
“But…”
“Can’t you do anything without objections, Blue eyes?” He asked struggling to hold the anger he was feeling.
“Why? I’m just surprised you are acting all coy and nice with me. You were mad some minutes ago!” Anna interjected.
“That’s your call Blue eyes” He muttered and was about walking away when her voice stopped him yet again.
“You brought me here yet you didn’t even organise good clothes for me!”
Axel turned.
“Don’t worry, someone will bring you all what you need in an hour”
“But,,, can’t I go shopping. That would be less expensive” Anna says really hoping he agrees.
“Blue eyes, don’t you dare try to act so smart with me, I can see right through you. And never mind, i don’t mind spending my money on MY MATE…” Axel says and walked away while Anna groaned angrily.
“Such a smart monster..” She muttered.
Anna sighed and then looked at the refrigerator and then she closed it. It was then she noticed another refrigerator though a smaller one. She walked towars it and opened it. Thankfully jars of water was fully stocked with it along with food stuff.
“Wow! So Monsters like him eat!”
Anna brought out the jar of water and quickly poured some in the glasscup she was holding before gulping it down. She smiled satisfactorily and then brought out an apple. She took a knife and stared at it.
“How I wish I could just stab him with this knife but I know it won’t ki|| him!” She mumbled and angrily started slicing the apples but just then the unexpected happened, the knife cut her right thumb but then she didn’t feel any pain. Suddenly she saw an enraged Axel standing in front of her holding his right thumb.
“Can’t you be careful for once!” He yelled at her but She was staring at the thumb he was holding and then looked at her thumb which had already healed up.
Annabelle’s eyes widened as if she had discovered something.
“Y,,,, you feel pain when I hurt myself…” She muttered staring at his thumb and Axel scoffed.
“Isn’t it obvious?!” He snapped and then a large grin escaped her lips while Axel furrowed his brows.
“What the hell is she thinking?!”
****
“What the hell is she thinking?!”
“Wow! So we’re really mates!” She says with smiles and Axel groaned.
“You better know how to take care of yourself because if you hurt me one more time, I’ll definitely punish you!” Axel warned and then vanished from her sight.
Annabelle started to laugh. Yeah, she’s going to hurt him so badly using herself. She smiled and then she remembered something. Her phone. She could use her phone to call Elmo to free her. She left it in her Jean pocket yesterday. She immediately started searching her body but she didn’t find it.
“Maybe i lost it or the monster has taken it from me” Anna thought.
She hurriedly ran upstairs to her room. She walked in and started checking her room. She gave up after searching for some time. She sat on the bed sighing.
‘How did her life turn so bad within few hours” She cried.
**
Walton’s Mansion( Annabelle’s house)
Mia, Annabelle’s mum sat on the sofa crying profusely as she dalied her daughter’s number which was consistently saying unavailable.
“Darrell, her number isn’t available!” She stood crying as she walked up to her husband.
“Shh, she will be fine. Just calm down and let’s think. She will be fine” Darrell consoled his wife and embraced her.
But deep in his heart, he was really worried. Where was his beloved daughter in. Could it be that she ran off out of frustration.
“Do you think she h@ťěs us and got fed up of us, do you think that’s why she left us?!” Mia asked and Darrell sighed.
He didn’t even know what to do anymore. He was just fed up.
“Could it be one of his enemies?”
One thing is for sure. Who ever is responsible for his daughter absence should better get ready cause he’s never going to let go without a fight. He will surely make them pay.
Darrell gritted his teeth and then clenched his fists.

To be continued.
