” Can you just get a hold of yourself? He doesn’t deserve your love, he’s getting married to Mara next week..” Jeffrey yelled without realizing it.. he didn’t mean to say it that way but she was already getting him frustrated
” What?”
” What do you mean by that? What are you talking about?” She asked, tears blinding her vision
She just didn’t want to believe what Jeffrey just said
Jeffrey just sigh, regretting his actions already
” I know I’m not supposed to say this Violet but it’s the truth. That was the reason we got into a fight earlier, he didn’t fight back because it’s all true.. I heard his conversation with Mara the day on the rooftop ” he said
” The rooftop.. ” she muttered then it dawned on her she had left Ryan and Mara there earlier at school
” But yo.. Jeffrey didn’t finish his statement when she ran out of the house in tears
” Where are you running off too?” He went after her.
” It’s gonna rain soon, where are you going ?” He asked turning her around
” I don’t know Jeff, I want to see him, I want him to tell me you’re lying, That all what you just said is nothing but a lie..” she said as tears dropped down her cheek.
He was left confused. How was he gonna comfort her
” But….. He wanted to say something but she ran off again
He didn’t bother going after her this time. He just ruffled his hair, watching her. She didn’t bother taking the bus, she just ran while crying
” Jeff is lying, Ryan wouldn’t do that to me” She cried
” It’s not true ” she assured herself and soon it began pouring heavily

” Why is it raining all of a sudden?” Mrs Zhan asked and mujin just shrugged
” Will you go home now or we should wait a bit longer? I doubt if the rain would stop anymore moment soon ” She sighed
” It’s fine.. I’ll stay a little longer ” mujin replied, playing games on his phone

Mara sat on her bed staring at her phone. She smiled when the message she’s been waiting for appeared
? SHE’S HEADING TO COLLEGE.. the message read and she smiled even broadly before dialing the number
? Do a good job, I’m gonna send you her house address right now.. she’s your only target and no one else.. she said and ended the call
She had gone through Violet’s Bio in the school blog so she knew her address very well
” You’ve over stepped your boundaries Violet.. she muttered sipping from a glass of wine..

” We should all go home now..” Reece said standing on his feet. They’ve been with Remy since they left school
” Alright babe, see you tomorrow then..” Claire hugged Remy
” Ahem.. ” Reece cleared his throat, walking out on them with his other friends
” I love you..” Remy said while she blushed
” I love you more..” she replied and he leaned in, kissing her shortly before walking out of the mansion with her
” It’s raining heavily and I brought no umbrella, how are we gonna do it?” Reece asked
” Walk under it ” Justin replied and began running in the rain
” You can just sleep here right?” Claire asked
” I’d have love to but I need to be with them, we have some stuffs to talk about..” Remy replied, stroking her hair
” Okay then.. take care and don’t catch a flu ” she said and he nodded
” I’ll call you when I get home..” he said to her and she nodded watching him run inside the rain with his friends to their car

” This Mara is even more evil than her mom..” one of the boys in the room said
” I already h@ťě her so much.. I just wish I could kîll her.. ” another said balling his fist
” What should I do now boss?” A guy seated infront of the computer asked
” Just bring us more money and I swear to ruin Zhang’s career if he doesn’t stop his daughter’s obsessed attitude ”
” Alright my lady, But how much are we talking about here?” He asked again
” Gardiner, just take any amount you deem fit ” she said while Gardiner smiled mischievously..
” This is so cool.. I guess I will be changing wardrobe soon..” he said facing his computer
” Let’s get to work baby ” he said flexing hands before placing them on the keyboard, pressing it cr@zily

Leyan sat on her bed looking around. She was already tired and decided to let go since Ryan already agreed to the engagement
She brought out her phone to call him but he wouldn’t pick.. he has been avoiding her even when they stay in the same roof.
Leyan sigh, leaving the bed and proceeding down stairs.
” I guess he won’t be coming home today..” she sighed again sitting on the couch with her stomach growling loudly
” I haven’t tasted anything for two days now ” she muttered staring at dining table which held so many dishes.
She walked to the window and stood there
” It’s raining heavily..” she sigh again staring as the rain poured

Jeffrey kept pacing around the sitting room. He was so worried that he immediately regretted telling her about the marriage
” I didn’t do anything wrong right? At least the truth was gonna come out some day.. ” he sighed and Granny Pamela walked into the house looking all wet
” Grandma..” he walked to her
” What’s wrong? You look worried and where is Violet? ” Granny Pamela asked
” She went to meet Ryan..” he replied and she exhaled
” Is that so? Did she tell you when she will be back?” She asked but Jeffrey shook his head
” Alright, make sure you tell her to come home early, late night walk isn’t for her..” she said and Jeffrey nodded. He brought out his phone and texted her immediately before dropping it back
” I need to go home now granny ” he said and she gave him an umbrella which was behind the door
” Don’t get wet ” she said
” Alright granny, take care ” he said, leaving the house

Violet ran out of breath but she wasn’t ready to stop any moment soon. Its been close to an hour now she has been running none stop.. she just wanted to hear from Ryan himself
All her prayers then was that, he should say it’s all just a lie..
She kept running untill she got to school.. she was all drained as she walked towards Ryan’s hostel
” I prays he should be here..” she said to herself ringing the doorbell. She was d@mn cold and shivering already

Ryan walked to the door though he wasn’t expecting anybody at that moment.. he opened the door only to behold Violet who was shivering because of cold
His eyes dilated at once
” Violet? What are you doing here looking all wet?” He asked pulling her into the house and closing the door afterwards
He turned to her and she immediately began to cry
” Tell me it’s all a lie Ryan, tell me it’s not because of Mara you’re behaving this way towards me? Tell me you’re not gonna marry her, can you please tell me all this are lies?” She cried but he didn’t say a thing
He h@ťěd seeing her cry but what could be do? Her presence with him isn’t save at all but still he needed to protect her
” It’s true, I’m getting married to Mara next week..” he said staring at her as more tears poured down her cheek
” Just why? Don’t you love me any more? Did I do something wrong? Are you mad at me? ” She asked trying to hold his hands but he shifted back
” I don’t love you anymore don’t you get? ” He replied meanly though he was hurting real bad inside.. Violet only cried not wanting to believe him. She could feel her heart already shattering into pieces
He didn’t love her?
” I don’t believe you Ryan, there’s more to this. I don’t need your protection if it’s means you’re gonna marry mara, I might die!!! You said we’ll spend the rest of our lives together so what’s happening to your promises!!” she yelled in tears
He felt tears leaving his eyes and he quickly turn his back on her
” Go home Violet, you don’t have to be hear ” he said but she immediately turn him to herself
She tiptoed and place her lips on his kissing him. He made to push her off but she held onto his shirt tightly not breaking the kiss as hot tears left her eyes
pouring hotly from her eyes and before he knew it, he was responding to the kiss.
Oh, how much He has missed the taste of her lips..
He made to reciprocate the kiss but she pulled off
” Look me in the eye and tell me you don’t feel anything at all?” She said but he didn’t reply
” Cats got your ton… she didn’t complete her statement when he kissed her.
