SHANE’S PLACE.
Shane just made himself some sandwich before going to balance with it on the couch and began watching TV.
He was about to take a bite when someone knocked.
“Who?” He asked but no reply and this made him sigh.
He stood up himself and went to get the door. Surprise grew on his face when he saw some policeman standing outside.
“Officers, what are you doing here?” He looked left and right before asking.
“We are looking for Brad Langston, we have some questions to ask him” an officer among them replied.
“Brad? Why?” Shane still looked confused. What did Brad do now?
The Brad they were talking off finally climb down the stairs, the frozen a bit when he saw the police but when he remembered that he didn’t do anything, he continued his movement.
“Brad Langston?” The police called.
“The one and only” Brad replied with his hands dipped into his pants pocket, he even invited the police to come in.
When the police men entered, Shane closed the door and went to stand beside Brad.
“So why are you here?” Brad asked as he crossed his legs together.
“To question you about the sudden attack of David Donovan” the officer replied.
“Who’s David Donovan?” Brad looked confused.
“David Donovan, junior brother of Joshua Donovan” the officer replied.
Brad turned to look at Shane before looking at the police and bursting out into laughter.
“Everyone knows that I was here, minding my own business and not talking to Joshua but what did he do? He accused me of something that didn’t concern me,he involved me into his dum family problems” Brad clenched his fist tight.
“Please answer our question Mr Langston, where were you when Joshua’s Donovan brother, David Donovan was attacked?” The police asked again.
“I was home d@mn you! Joshua will pay for doing this!” Brad cursed.
“Yes officer I can testify that Brad was home, we were even playing a PS gsme together” Shane said.
After some few questions, the police didn’t get anything from Brad so they left to look for Pinky.

FALLON’S MANSION.
“Miss Pinky Fallon, we’ll like to question you about the sudden attack of David Donovan” one of the officers said.
Pinky eyes widened. Did he just say David Donovan? Joshua Donovan? Are they brothers?
Grandpa Fallon looked disappointed in Teddy and he knew he was guilty.
“Go ahead and ask her your question” Grandpa Fallon sighed and sat on the couch.
“Joshua Donovan called to report about his brother being attacked and he mentioned your name as one of his enemies. Also we checked the CCTV footage earlier and we saw your soldiers sir, please we’ll need your granddaughter at the prison for an explanation” the officer said.
Grandpa Fallon nodded.
“Take her along but we’ll come with you” he said and Pinky was handcuffed and scared, she kept crying like a baby as they took her to the car.
After they left with Pinky, Grandpa Fallon faced Teddy.
“How could you let this happen? I thought I could trust you! All because you wanted to keep your girlfriend by your side, you risked someone else’s life? How could you?” Grandpa Fallon looked furious.
Teddy wasn’t surprised with how the old man guessed everything, his old man was still so intelligent even with his old age and his old man was right.
He was selfish.
“I’m sorry Grandpa,” he muttered.
“What happened to my rules of not dating till you’re done with highschool and college? What happened to focusing on how to be a better person, you defined me and see where it led to, it almost took someone’s life!” Grandpa Fallon scolded.
Teddy pressed his lips together, he felt so guilty to talk back.
“I thought you were going to be like your father, I thought you have the trait of a true Fallon but I was wrong, you’ve turned out to be your sister and how can you correct her wrong doings if you were not disciplined yourself?” Pure disappointment was what Grandpa Fallon’s voice was filled with.
A teardrop fell off Teddy’s eyes.
Grandpa Fallon managed to stand up and when Teddy wanted to help him, the old man refused, he took his stick and walked out by himself.
Just immediately Teddy’s phone began ringing, Sydney was calling, he started at his phone before switching it off and leaving the house.

POLICE STATION.
Joshua rose up the moment he saw Pinky enter.
“It’s you! I know you don’t like me and I accept but coming after my family is what I won’t take” he wanted to move closer to her but Carly, who has been beside him, pulled him back.
“Mark my words Pinky, if anything happens to my brother then I will never forgive you I swear!” He yelled.
Grandpa Fallon stepped forward.
“My granddaughter was careless and u apologize but rest assured that I will punish her as well as take care of your brother’s hospitality. Pinky I will let you go to jail until that boy wakes up” the old man said with a straight face.
Pinky shook her head in fright immediately but Grandpa Fallon ignored her. He continued talking.
“Once he wakes up, you’re leaving this country,” he added.
Pinky almost fell down if not for the police behind her.
“Grandpa, my school” she cried.
“Forget about it”.
“And Teddy, he was the one who gave me the badge, he should be punished as well” Pinky has agreed that since she has lost, she would take her brother with her.
Grandpa Fallon turned to give her an angry look. She wasn’t feeling remorseful for what she did and he would teach her a lesson.
“Before you take her, I’ll call my soldiers to give her a good beating and make sure she doesn’t walk or sit for three days” he said to the police men before leaving the station.
“Grandpa please, no please Grandpa!!” Pinky cried out, she wanted to follow him but the officers didn’t let her go.
“Let’s go, welcome back to jail and we promise that you won’t enjoy it here” a familiar female officer walked up to her.
