NEXT MORNING
Remy held his head which was aching badly as he struggled to seat on the couch. Him and his friends had drank so much the previous night that they ended up sleeping on the bare floor in their sitting room
” Gosh, today is exam day.. ” he said, still holding his head
” I should just welcome failure on all the subjects ” Fargo replied, standing on his feet too
” I seriously don’t know the paper we have today” Reece said
” I heard it’s two subject a day..” Justin added. He didn’t drink with them, he took juice instead
” Let’s go get ready then.. we’re gonna handle it what ever way it comes” Remy said, walking to his room and the others did same
They were done minutes later and decided to head to school early so they could do quick revision before the exams starts

Jeffrey sat in the sitting room, busy with his phone while he waited for Violet who was still dressing.. she was done in matters of seconds before heading to the sitting room
” How do I look?” She asked
” Awesome ” he replied and she smiled
” Bye grandma..” They both said and left the house even before grandma Pamela could reply
Violet didn’t tell her grandma about her encounter with those strange men, she didn’t want her to be worried

∆ EVERGREEN COLLEGE
” I need to see Ryan.. you can head to class first..” Violet said to Jeffrey and he nodded. He headed to class while she started walking to Ryan’s hostel when she bumped into Claire
” I’m sorry ” She apologized
” You’re Ryan’s girlfriend right?” Claire asked and she nodded slowly
” You’re boyfriend is my bad luck, tell him to avoid me else I might end up punching him..” Claire said and made to leave but Violet pulled her back gently and she winced
” Are you hurt?” She asked concerned
” Yeah I fell, thanks to your boyfriend and now I think I’ve finally gone cr@zy.. she said and Walked away leaving Violet confused since she didn’t understand what she meant. She shrugged before proceeding to meet Ryan

Ryan got the door only to meet Violet smiling broadly.. he pulled her in before hugging her tightly
” Did something happen?” She asked, hugging him back
” You made me worried and I couldn’t sleep so I had to study all night” he replied
” You studied? I slept witho.. he didn’t allow her complete her statement when he shut her up with a kiss
” That’s why I summarized this for you..” he said giving her a pamphlet
” OMG!!! You’re such a darling..” she hugged him
” Don’t you think I deserve a kîss instead?” He whispered and she jabbed his stomach playfully
” Go away ” she said, her eyes scanning the book.
” C’mon love !! ” He whined but she ignored him and sat on the couch, going through the book
” You kîssed me earlier ”
” That doesn’t count ” he pouted, sitting next to her
” Don’t come closer ” she said, going to another couch while he pouted like a baby, holding the cushion to himself
In minutes she was done with the book and stood up.
” Let’s go to class..” she said
” Did something happen to you last night?” He asked
” Why? ” She asked back
” I don’t know but I feel like something happened cause I was very restless”
” I’ll tell you after the exams” she smiled and he nodded
” What did you do to Claire?” She asked
” Me? She said I did something to her?” He asked confused
” Nevermind.. ” she replied and made to leave but he held her back
” What did she say?” He asked, seriously
” Nothing special, something like you are her bad luck cause she ended up falling” she replied
” I told you it was nothing serious..” she added
” I guess she fell off her bike yesterday. I told her to use the bike instead of the car.. ” he said and she smiled
” Let’s go then. It’s nothing serious after all..” she said and they both left the mansion

Claire and Remy kept stealing glances at each other and they always look away whenever their eyes met
” This is crazy..” She muttered biting her lower lip
? Today looks awkward, everyone seems to be sick
? Of course, it’s exam time!!
Violet and Ryan entered the class at once and the class turned to them wondering if they were dating but no one seems to believe they could be in a serious relationship
” Good luck..” he pulled her cheeks softly and the class gasped.
He smiled at her before going to his seat while she went to hers
Remy just sat not able to take his eyes off Claire
” I thought it’s nothing at first, but it’s really turning into something..” he muttered, taking his gaze away
A lecturer came in and began distributing their question sheet. Violet marvelled when she noticed it was all what Ryan jotted out for her
” Wow, he’s amazing ” She smiled and that moment, Mara walked into the class only to see Violet first
She blinked thrice with confusion all over her face
” I thought She’s supposed to be… ” she bit her lips harshly while glaring at Violet h@ťěfully before walking to get seat.
” The exam ends in an hour time, now start” The lecturer said and the students got to work
Seconds turned to minutes, minutes to an hour and everyone stopped writing.. the students handed the script to the lecturer who left after collecting everyone’s script
The students started leaving the class while Violet went to Ryan
? Those two are dating? They’re behaving more like couples..
? I don’t wanna believe it
” How was the exam?” Violet asked, seating with him
” I should be asking you that..” he replied staring directly into her eyes
” It was cool, thanks to you..” She replied and looked away, she was already tempted. She might lose her mind and kiss him right there if they just keep staring at each other. Mara just stared at them, annoyed
” So what happened to you last night” he asked
” I was attacked but someone saved me..” she replied
” You were what?!! ” He almost screamed
” Are you okay? You didn’t hurt yourself right? Do you need to go to the hospital?” He asked checking her out. Mara only balled her fist in anger as she watched them
” I’m not hurt thanks to my savior”
” Your savior? Was it a guy or a girl? Was he handsome?
” Seriously? Does it matter?” She laughed
” That’s true though, as far as you’re safe now I’m okay. Next time, I’m not gonna leave until I watch you go in okay?” He said and she nodded
” Wanna know who saved me?” She asked and he nodded
” It was Mimi, gosh, she looked really beautiful in her assassin dress..”
” Mimi?” He asked and she nodded
” The girl who sat behind me during the scholarship exams..”
” Huh? That tiny girl?” He asked and she chuckled
