Bella tried phoning Pablo but his phone was switched off. She tried after an hour and yet, it keeps saying the same thing over and over again. She was beginning to lose hope he’d show today.
They got to the restaurant. Tessa informed Ana that Mr Jayden came a few minutes ago, asking for her whereabouts.
“Did you tell him we were in the hospital?” Bella asked.
“Yes, I did.” She replied.
“What did he say?” She asked again.
“He said he’ll be here in a…” she paused as her eyes moved to the door. Bella’s gaze moved immediately, hoping it would be Pablo but yet, it’s Mr Jayden!
“Oh, $h|t!”
“Mr Jayden, I heard you came asking for me, is there a problem?” Anastasia asked, walking towards him.
“Not at all. I came to check on you but she told me you went to the hospital.”
“Yes, I did.”
“So, are you cool now?” He asked.
“Yeah, sure, I am. I think I remember a few things now.”
Mr Jayden was happy, though he tried not to express his happiness facially.
“I remember the night we met. You and your secretary, you two were having dinner right on that table.” She said, pointing at the exact table they had sat that night.
Jayden smiled, Indeed she did remember. “I see, there seems to be a great improvement. Well, there’s some thing I wanna talk to you about. Mind for a walk?” He requested.
“Sure.” She followed him out of the restaurant.
Bella and Tessa glared at each other. “Mr Escobar is gonna ki|| me if he finds out that she’s having a walk with him and not me.”
“Let’s hope he doesn’t arrive so soon.” Tessa said.
“You don’t understand. You need to see how she was admitting her feelings for Mr Jayden, I was beginning to wonder if she will ever remember who Mr Escobar is. The way she talked about him, how she desperately wanted him by her side, how she imagined things about the two of them. She is determined to have her first kiss with him tonight.”
“Tell me you’re joking.”
“Joking? Tessa I am for once in my entire life being serious. She is gonna kiss him, that is why she didn’t refuse to have a walk with him. Who knows if he’s gonna propose to her? God, I pray she says no.”
“She won’t.”
“I know.”
“But let’s hope she does.”
Bella and Tessa had the rest of the day’s job done in the absence of Anastasia who still hasn’t returned yet from her walkout with Mr Jayden. For the first time, Bella was growing worried about their walkout. Since Pablo has decided to come over to Chicago, who knows if he’s in the state already, probably on his way to the shop.
She’s been looking at the door at the sound of it opening and closing. “She should be back already.” She said inwardly to herself.
Tessa noticed how worried she was, so she walked to her side. “You’re gonna give yourself a heart attack if you keep thinking about it.”
“I’m not just worried about them hanging out, I’m worried about what Mr Escobar will say when he shows up.”
“You don’t have to be worried about that either. Look, Bella, Ana is a grown up woman and she has every right to live her life the way she wants to. If not for Mr Jayden, Ana couldn’t have gotten to this level of remembrance, so we should feel relaxed and not high over their absence.
We don’t even know if Mr Escobar is showing up today. Besides, Ana needs to be happy, and from the way things appeared to be, I think Mr Jayden has been ten times helpful than her so-called Mr Escobar. He’s been there for her every single day, he never let her feel so lonely. Now she is in love with him, why bother yourself?”
Bella was surprised to hear all that she had said. She wasn’t expecting it to come from her lips. “You suggest she should follow Mr Jayden?” She asked.
“I suggest she should follow where her heart leads.”
“There’s gonna be a love war if this continues.” She concluded.

Meanwhile, Mr Jayden and Anastasia were just leaving the Monik Restaurant, tonight was the night of their second dinner. Anastasia was putting on a different outfit since she couldn’t use her previous clothes for such an expensive dinner.
She never expected he would waste twenty dollars just for a single cloth and a pair of shoes, giving her a thousand reasons to love him the most.
While his driver drove them back to the restaurant, he decided the driver should take them to the bridge. The driver stopped by the road side while the both of them continued their way down to the river.
