“We’re happy you’re back, Ms Rivera, where have you been?” Question the manger.
“Am sorry, I can’t tell it’s personal sir” I answered.
“I understand Ms Rivera, you know? Since you left we lost a lot of patients… Most of the children you took care from the cancer ward died…. And a lots of bad stuff.. we are at the verge of closing down our hospital but thanks to the almighty, you came back” He said.
“Why did they died doctor?” I asked in tears.
“I Know, there are other best medical workers here,so why the bad report?” I sob.
” That I have no answer to Ms River, all I could say is that, most of the children took you as the mother they never had. They kept asking after you…when we couldn’t provide you. Some of them stopped eating, other’s condition increased…. And that’s what led to their death” He said while wiping off tears from his eyes.
“Am so sorry doctor, am really sorry” I cried.
“It’s okay, I know you’re a good person and you have a good reason for being away.” He said.
“I’m back doctor, I promise not to go outside the country for now, I will start all over again” I assured him.

“You’re welcome Dr, excuse me.. I need to go prepare for tomorrow, I have an operation to carry out” I smiled.
