” I didn’t ki|| him.. he muttered again.
” I’m tired of trying to cope with your childish attitude!! I’m tired of trying to make amends!! And what? You called me an hypocrite?? You’re the real hypocrite here you bloody fo.ol…. f_ck you!!” He spat, walking out of the place, leaving everyone shocked
? What just happened
? What does Remy mean?
? Ryan a murderer?
? Is that why he became a loner because he feels guilty?
? f_ck, this is too much to apprehend
” Y’all shut it ” Violet suddenly yelled and Everyone went silent immediately staring at her.
” What? A murderer? How can y’all criticize him when you have no idea of what happened? We all know Remy h@ťěs him a lot and I bet he said that to make him sad. Y’all should behave like humans once in a while and stop all the meaningless criticism” She glared at the students before going after Ryan
Jeff stood at the corner watching the scene quietly
” I seriously wasn’t expecting that from you Remy ” Fargo said, leaving to class
Remy just stood on the ground as the students dispersed
” Ryan?” Violet called, walking into an empty class
” What are you doing here?” He asked coldly
” I…..
” It’s true, I ki||ed him… so don’t interfere into what you don’t know” he said and turned to leave
” I’ll get mom and dad… and Remy too. So Please…. just hang in there”. I heard you say that in your sleep. It actually looked like you were tryna save him to me”. Violet said and he stopped on his tracks
★ ★ Flashback ★ ★
” So where exactly is this place you were talking about?” Remy asked as the kept going into the forest
” We’ll get there soon, it’s just behind the mountain ” Ryan replied
” I hope this isn’t one of your pranks ” Remy said
They had sneaked out of the house unnoticed
They kept walking till they got behind the mountain not far from their home though
” You didn’t tell me it was a River ” Li Shu said
” Well… It was meant to be a surprise ” Ryan smiled broadly
” Can I get my inhaler back?” Li Shu asked
He was actually an asthmatic patient. Ryan had seized his inhaler and wouldn’t return it if they hadn’t followed him
” So what are we doing here? ” Remy asked, staring at the water
” Let’s swim ”
” What? We came all the way here just for a swim?” Remy asked
” Well… mom wouldn’t allow us use the pool at home ”
” Yeah and That’s because Li Shu is asthmatic and moreover we don’t even know if this water is safe ”
” It’s safe, the security men said it ”
” Let’s just go home.. I have a bad feeling about this ” Remy protested
” You can go but I won’t return Li Shu’s inhaler if we leave here!!” Ryan whined
” What?? Just because you are the youngest here doesn’t give you the right to behave as you want . I hope this stubborn attitude of yours doesn’t cause you trouble in the future”
” It’s Alright Remy, you can go back while I’ll just swim with Ryan, we won’t take long I promise. It’s been long I take a swim don’t you agree?” Li Shu smiled
” If you say so.. take care ” Remy shrugged and waved at Ryan before leaving them behind.
They got into the water and they both jumped into it, giggling as they did, though Ryan wasn’t a great swimmer but he tried his best. While they were still swimming, places suddenly became dark, indicating it was gonna rain soon
” Let’s go home, I’m scared..” Ryan said
” I know, I was gonna say that ” Li Shu helped him out of the water and made to stand but his legs got stuck between something beneath the water.
” Why aren’t you leaving the water?” Ryan asked
” I can’t seem to remove my leg, it’s stuck ” Li Shu said and Ryan made to jump back into the water but he stopped him
” Get help instead ” Li Shu said and he nodded slowly
” Hang in there okay? I’ll get mom, dad. We’ll get you out of there..” he said and Li Shu nodded
He turned to leave when a thunderstorm accompanied by a heavy rainfall began, tossing the water at each end
” Lishu..? ” He turned to him again and this time, he noticed the River’s Volume was increasing due to the rain. It was just a matter of minutes before it’s overflows.
” Somebody help..” he shouted, going back to the river bank
” Don’t.. come closer… go get dad for me..” Li Shu said, still struggling in the water
” Li Shu.. Ryan cried, running to get help as the rain drenched him
” Mom, dad.. Li Shu, he’s stuck in the water..” Ryan cried.
Remy who heard him ran out of the house even when the rain was heavy
Xue also left the house with his wife as they ran towards the water
” Li Shu..” Remy called but got no reply.
Li Xue dived into the water and began searching for him despite the storm and rain.
He was about leaving to search the other side of the water when he felt something touch him. He quickly grabbed on it and his eyes widened
It was a body!
” Li Shu.. he called, trying to pull him out but couldn’t.
After a while of struggling, he finally got him out of the water
” Li Shu.. Leyan cried after seeing his lifeless body on her husband
He ran out of the woods to his car, driving him to the hospital and treatment commenced immediatel
The family kept pacing infront of a ward restlessly waiting for the doctor
