“Look Cassandra am sorry for everything I have done for you, I accept that I was stupid and crazy for doing such to you and I really regret it, I know it’s going to take a long time before you finally forgive me but I just ask of one thing, just give me a chance in your life and I promise not to mess things up, if I ever do anything irrational then you can do anything you want to do to me I don’t mind” he said outloud, I took a deep breathe.
“If you want to think about it then fine, but I want you to consider this for the sake of our unborn baby “He added
“Using the unborn kid won’t work for me “I snapped
“Am sorry but that was the only thing I could think of that can change your mind “He said, gosh why did this guy have to look so handsome saying all these, I just laid on the bed and pretended to be asleep.
He went to the other side of the bed to sleep, making sure that they was distance between us, he even kept the pillow there, such a Crazy @zzh0le. After some minutes of not being able to sleep, I moved closer to him and laid my head on his chest and cuddled my body to his, he held me like I was a baby (thank goodness the baby bump was not put yet) I drifted to sleep.
[Next morning]
I went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. I don’t know why but I crave for tomatoes this morning. I saw my mum in the kitchen preparing breakfast. Wow, that’s early. I saw what I was craving for, went to pick it, rinsed it then ate it.
“Cassandra “Mom called surprised by what I did
“What?” I said and she nodded her negatively
“When did you start eating tomato?”She asked
“Well, today? Was craving for it “I replied
“Pregnancy hormones.”She murmured but I heard it loud and clear.
“No, it’s not “I said
“Well, lady it is “She said and I frowned
“No it’s not “I argued and then she smiled
“Alright, alright, it’s not “She accepted and I smiled.
“So, what are you cooking “I asked
“Veggies for you and spaghetti with hot dog for your husband and I “She answered
“Why veggies for me? Why do I have to eat the bitter ones “I asked with a pouty lips
“Stop behaving childish, hotdog is not healthy for you to eat but veggies is good, I will make oat tomorrow alright”She said as she patted my hair but I grumbled.
“Am not eating “I said
“You have to eat for the sake of the baby “She said and I almost cried
“You don’t even care about me”I said and that’s when I noticed him.
“Can’t you say something, why are you mute? “I asked in an absurd manner.
“Fine don’t talk about going to work “I said as I went in to get ready for work.
” Am sorry, but you can’t go to work “He stopped me from going outside.
“I can’t stay here alone “I said
“You are not alone you have me “Mom said
“No you are not lively, always acting bossy “I said
“Should I stay behind then “he suggested and I pursued my lip
“No don’t, I promise I will not overwork myself”I said
“I would let you work on one condition and that is you would bring your work over to my office so I could watch you” he said and I frowned
“Alright, if that’s what you want? “I accepted having no choice.
[Alex office]
Alex had collected my laptop that I was using to work, he left me in this office just to be looking around like one dumb fool, since I do not like this d@mn stuff, I decided to pick up a fight.
Why does he have to look this cute? I thought as I gawked at him. Stared for too long admiring him, like he just wore a Stuart Hughes diamond edition, his hair was not really brushed but twas ok. He raised his head and our eyes met, I coughed and he smiled.
“Just give me my laptop “I said
“You can’t work Cassandra “He said and I frowned
“I have been doing nothing for the past 4 hours “I said and he chuckled
“Twas not even up to a minute “He answered
“Are you trying to say I’m lying “I asked, giving him a scornful look.
“Look, Cassandra–” a message popped up on my phone, raising my hands to make him stop talking. Checked the message and my eyes widened. I could not believe this, so I called him immediately. Went outside.
[Phone Conversation]
Me: is it true
Miguel: yes it is, she’s having a live conference meeting now
Me: so she’s not Diane, but the lost daughter of the Han
Miguel: It’s true I went to check if they were lying, too sad that’s the truth, old lady Han brought her into your life for revenge, she also likes Alex.
Me: but Diane is alive
Miguel: I know, I am looking for her whereabout
Me: she’s going to come out very soon
Miguel: how
Me: she also likes so she won’t take it lightly with her sister, she would come out to fight for him

“Nothing, just decided to put you into consideration “I said and he looked confused

“Why do you always act dumb? Well I decided to give you another chance in my life “I answered and his eyes widened then he looked sad
“Are you not happy “I asked.
“I am just worried because you never looked like you wanted to do so and all of a sudden you want to do it “He said
“Don’t you want it “I asked
“I do “He replied fast
“Then no more questions “I said and he nodded in affirmative
“I feel hungry “I grumbled
“What would you like to eat “He asked hurriedly
“I don’t know, I just want you to cook for me “I said and he smiled.
“Alright, let’s go home then “he said, smiling sheepishly.
