” Am full”Shana said to Chris who was feeding her
” Are you sure? He asked and she nodded drinking a glass of water
“How are you feeling now? He asked
” Better, she replied and he smiled
” You aren’t sad about your mom’s arrest? He asked
“She deserves it, though she is my mom but that doesn’t mean I’ll support her, she almost made big brother fatherless”she replied folding her fist angrily
” am glad you understand” he said in relief and she smiled
” Were you able to find the person responsible for the hit and run? She asked
” You also knew it was intentionally? He asked and she nodded
” Of course,
“Sadly it’s someone you never expected” he said with a sigh
” And who is it?
“Nancy, she was the one who hit you with her car” he replied
“Nancy was the one who hit me? She asked in disbelief
“Yes,he replied
” How could she? I treated her like a friend, how could she think of ki||ing me? She said angrily
Truly she never expected Nancy to be so vicious like this!
“She has been arrested” he cut in her thoughts
” Really? She asked and he nodded
“Yeah,all thanks to Ursula who happen to witness the accident, she was the one who recorded everything which we used as a proof to arrest Nancy” he replied
“She is kind-hearted” she smiled and Chris stared at her like there’s no tommorow
Shana caught him staring at her and she blushed
“Is there something on my face? She asked shyly
“There’s nothing on your face,he replied and she stared at him in question
He entwined his hand with her hand and her heart skipped a beat
“am just happy that you came back to us,I thought I lost you when the doctor said your condition is critical but you proved how strong you can be, you fought the darkness and return to us, thanks for coming back to us and to me” he said emotionally rubbing the back of her hand
” I love you” she said
Without replying, Chris brought his head closer to hers and capture her lips into a slow passionate kiss
