“Why are you out so late and why are you still in your uniform?” Pinky threw her first question at him.
Teddy looked left and right, seeing that no one was there, he faced Pinky again.
“And when did that turn to your business?” He asked back.
Pinky smirked and crossed her arms under her Břě@šť.
“It might not be my business but I’m sure it will be grandpa’s” she replied.
Teddy scoffed.
“You want to tell on me, well go ahead because I have nothing to hide” he eyed her.
“Really, you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to explain about you coming back home by this time in your school uniform?” She raised one of her brows up and Teddy rolled his eyes.
Next thing, Pinky began yelling.
“Oh Grandpa, your grandson is here and guess what he-”
Teddy blocked Pinky’s mouth immediately and gave her a pleading eyes.
“Are you seriously going to tell on me, you love me remember?” He tried sweet talking to her.
Pinky slapped his arms off and glared at him.
“You called me a witch once so why would a witch still love her brother, I don’t love you. Grandpa!!” She yelled again.
“Pinky!!” Teddy held her shoulders and stared at her with pleading eyes.
“I promise I wasn’t doing anything illegal, can’t you just let me go just this once” he pleaded with her.
Pinky smiled and was about to reply when he heard Grandfather Fallon’s voice.
“Pinky, where are you?” He asked from the living room as he found his way to the back door.
Pinky and Teddy looked at each other, Pinky was smiling while Teddy had a panicked look on his face.
Grandfather Fallon finally got to the back room and met Pinky standing alone.
“Pinky what are you doing here and why were you shouting out my name?” He glared at her and asked.
Pinky looked behind the counter where Teddy was hiding and pointed it while Teddy’s heart seized.
‘I knew she would betray me!’ He thought and was about standing up but what Pinky said next made him stay in one place.
“I thought I saw a rat there” Pinky pouted her lips.
Teddy breathed out while Grandfather Fallon looked confused.
“A rat?” He repeated and Pinky nodded.
“That’s nonsense, go to your room” he frowned at her and she nodded before leaving.
She had only taken two steps only for Grandfather Fallon to stop her.
“Your brother, where is he?” He asked.
Teddy shot his eyes tight as he tried calming his breathing.
“In his room, he asked me to go get water for him,” Pinky replied with a smile.
“Get it for him and leave” Grandfather Fallon scoffed and left.
Pinky crossed her arms together with a proud smile on her face and Teddy slowly came out.
“Thank you,” he muttered.
“I should be saying thank you instead” she smiled and stretched out her palms to him.
“Don’t forget our agreement so soon, big brother” she smiled at him again which annoyed Teddy.
He then dipped his hands in his pocket and brought out his credit card then placed it on her palms.
“Return it tomorrow evening, don’t you dare rip me off!!” He warned her before leaving.
Pinky smiled and kissed the card.

SYDNEY’S PLACE.
Olivia was pacing around and checking the windows to find out if she could see any sign of Sydney.
“It’s already so late, where did she go?” She thought.
The door then opened and Sydney stepped in with a smile.
“Sydney!!” Olivia rushed to hug her immediately.
Sydney parted her back twice and pulled away from the hug.
“Where have you been since and you’re still in your uniform?” Olivia asked, looking at Sydney from head to toes.
“I was with my boyfriend,” Sydney smiled.
“Boyfriend?” Olivia repeated with a surprised look.
Sydney nodded and began taking off her uniform.
“You can ask me your questions later, I need to shower first” she smiled and took her white towel then went to the bathroom.
Olivia still looked confused, she didn’t have much time to ponder about that when her phone began ringing.
She checked and it was her manager, Patrick.
“Mr Patrick” she picked the call.
“Livy dear, have you heard of the pop award show?” He asked from the other end.
“What Pop award show?” Olivia asked.
“Oh dear, I know you might have forgotten about it but every year, there’s always this program called the Pop Award Show for high-class celebrities and guess what, you’re invited” Mr Patrick smiled.
Olivia’s eyes widened.
“I’m invited?” She asked, like she couldn’t believe her ears.
“Yes, so after school, I want you to come to the tailor shop so we can get you measured for a new dress,” he added.
Olivia didn’t say anything, she just nodded and hung up.
“Who was that?” Sydney just came out of the bathroom and asked, she was also drying her hair with a blue towel.
“It’s my manager, I just got invited to the pop award show” Olivia muttered.
The towel fell from Sydney’s hands and she rushed to hug Olivia immediately.
“Pop award show is for high-class celebrities alone, you got invited, do you know what that means?” She squealed.
Olivia forcefully pulled away from the hug and went to lay on the bed, she turned her face to the other side.
“You’re a high class celebrity, let’s celebrate!!” Sydney jumped and brought out her MP3.
She connected her phone with it and began playing Ex by little mix.

Sydney increased the volume and went to pull Olivia out of the bed.
“Get up and let’s celebrate!!” She yelled.
“Sydney!!” Olivia struggles to get loose.
“Yeah, fùck Joshua Donovan! He thought he did a good thing by cheating on you, in his face!!” Sydney screamed out.
“Let go!!” Olivia forcefully pulled away from Sydney’s grip and ran to the bathroom then locked herself in.
“Livy!!” Sydney turned off the music and went to knock on the bathroom door.
Olivia rested her back on the door, her eyes turned misty and she slowly slipped down till she sat on the ground.
Next thing she began crying out.
“Livy!!” Sydney knocked on the door.

NEXT DAY★ UNIQUE HIGH.
It’s another day, it’s Carly’s second day at school, the cab stopped in the school parking lot and she came down with Joshua.
“Enjoy yourself and learn well baby sis” Joshua told her.
She nodded and he patted her head before leaving.
Carly smiled and began going in but paused when she saw David coming out of his mom’s car.
David exchanged some words with his mom before waving at her as she drove off.
“David” Carly waved at him.
He looked at her before looking elsewhere and leaving.
Carly looked confused and surprised but she still ran after him.
“David” she got to his side and waved to him but he still ignored her.
Carly came to stand in front of him and waved her both hands to his face.
“It’s too early to play games like this don’t you think?” She asked.
David stopped walking and looked at her with a frown.
“I’m not playing Carly I’m serious, you and your ‘Big brother’ ignored me yesterday and left me alone. He air quoted when he said “big brother”.
“Carly and I followed you everywhere only to get that kind of treatment from you!” He added in an angry tone.
Carly blocked her mouth with her palms.
“I’m so sorry David, I didn’t know that it’ll upset you” she apologized.
“Well it did!” David huffed.
“I’m sorry” she apologized again.
“Not accepted!” David scoffed and left.
“Hey David!!” Carly wanted to run after him but bumped into someone.
She looked up to see that guy that Joshua introduced her to, the one that she thought was snubbing her.
Shane also looked surprised to see Carly.
“Sorry” Carly apologized immediately and wanted to run past him but he stopped her.
“Carly right?” He asked.
Carly looked back at him and nodded.
“I’m Shane” he introduced himself and Carly nodded.
“Also it’s not that I was ignoring you yesterday, I was just stunned when I saw you,” he added.
Carly raised one of her brows up.
“Stunned?” She repeated.
“Oh” Shane pressed his lips together and shook his head. “Just don’t worry about it, it’s nice to meet you anyways” he forced a smile.
Carly nodded before leaving immediately.
Shane released the breath he was holding, he wasn’t able to get her off his mind and seeing her again just multiplied it.
“How can I tell Joshua that I feel something for his baby sis” he thought.
As the normal class activities were going on, news suddenly popped out. It was about Olivia getting invited for the pop award show.
It was in different articles, news and people were talking about this.
The third period of the class activity was over, Joshua was on his way to his locker room when he heard people talking.
He didn’t want to listen but they were talking so loud that he couldn’t help but hear what they were saying.
“I’m so proud of Olivia, she got invited to perform and attend the pop award show” a girl said and the other girls nodded with a smile.
“She’s now a high-class celebrity, can’t believe I’m attending the same school as her, I’m so lucky”
“After heartbreak, she got good news ASAP, such a lucky girl”
Joshua immediately got to his locker room and took out his phone. When he went online, the news was everywhere even when he didn’t search it.
Some people were mentioning his name and making fun of him but that wasn’t the issue to him as he recalled something.
In the past when he and Olivia were starting to get famous, they did watch that award show together.
Those times, they promised to grow famous together and go there together, hand in hand, feeling like the cutest couple but now, she’s going there without him and did he get there?
By using him.
Joshua clenched his fist tight and blood started to roll down his knuckles.
He shot his eyes tight immediately.
“It’s just a phase, you’ll get over it, Ignore it like it’s nothing” he muttered to himself then turned around to leave but he suddenly met her standing behind him.
