NOT EDITED

Sebastian was confused. Why would Anna act this way towards Swayer? Unless Swayer did something drastic but he’ll just have to find out.

Anna was still boiling but she had to hold herself to avoid spilling it infront of Sebastian.
Ivory couldn’t even move. If Anna could slap Swayer of all persons then what would she do to her?

Swayer could feel her vision getting blurry. Yup, the tears were finally coming out. Anna noticed this and immediately regretted her action. She didn’t intend to hurt Swayer, she was just so angry.

“Swayer, I’m sorry.” Anna muttered, lowering her gaze. She felt terrible now and she didn’t like it.

Sebastian noticed Swayer was about crying and he immediately glared at Anna.

“I don’t know what happened between you two but don’t you think you were too hard on her?” He asked with a frown.

“It’s fine. I’m fine.” Swayer held back the tear, walking away from them.

Anna immediately followed and they entered into the kitchen.

Ivory glanced at Sebastian who was still frowning and they locked gaze.

“Mind explaining what’s going on?” Sebastian asked but before Ivory could open her mouth, Fabiola and Shaun entered the living room.

“Baby, I’m hungry.” Fabiola pouted as she walked up to her brother, hugging him briefly. She paused a bit, glancing at Ivory and then back at Sebastian.
“Did I miss something?” She asked and Sebastian shook his head.

“I will go see if Chrystal is done setting the table.” Ivory said and immediately excused herself.

“Faby, shouldn’t you be calling me baby instead?” Shaun raised a brow at her.

Fabiola looked at Sebastian and then back at Shaun.

“No.” Sebastian and Fabiola chorused and Shaun chuckled.

“I guess the only competition I have now is Sebastian.” He said and Sebastian winked at him before putting his arms around Fabiola’s shoulder.

“Let’s go eat.” He said and the trio walked away towards he dinning room.

Anna sighed, running a hand through her hair. Chrystal and Fiona were in the kitchen too, waiting for wh@ťěver they have to say.

“Swayer I didn’t mean to slap you that hard but I did mean to slap you.” Anna said and Fiona faced her immediately.

“I’m sorry what now?” Fiona asked in shock. Did she hear right or did Anna just confess to slapping swayer?

“It’s a long story.” Anna sighed facing Swayer.

“Why did you slap me?” Swayer muttered. Her cheek was still burning her but she hide the pain.

“The question here is why did you accept the bet?” Anna asked Instead.

“You-you know about the be-t-” Swayer stuttered.

“What, were you not planning on telling me?” Anna frowned.
Swayer took in her buttom lip, not sure of what exactly to say next.

Chrystal just sat on the counter, watching them. She had a smile on her face as she predicted this would happen. Fiona on the other hand was still processing the slap case. For Anna to slap Swayer, it means this is more serious than she expected.

“Swayer I thought you were a smart lady? Why did you do something as stupid as this? You not only accepted the bet without telling me but got me involved as well-”

“Anna is not what you think.” Swayer cut her off.

“I couldn’t let our five years friendship go down the drain just like that.” She muttered, lowering her gaze.

“So what now, I’m supposed to make Sebastian like me now?” Anna glared at Swayer.

“We all are supposed to make Sebastian like us.” Chrystal scoffed.

“I’m really sorry Anna, Ivory was giving me the cold shoulders and -”

“Ivory?” Anna scoffed. “The same Ivory who just confessed to not liking any of us, is she the one who talked you into this?” Anna laughed and Swayer furrowed her brows.

“I’m sorry you said Ivory did what?” Fiona asked and Chrystal frowned, getting off the counter.

“Yes, she told me to my face that she never liked us, she only did it for Chrystal’s sake.” Anna said and Swayer widened her eyes. Never for once has she felt like Ivory didn’t like them,.she always smiled when they are around except when they have their arguments.

“Why didn’t you just call me to talk it out with me? I would have talked you out of it.” Anna sighed.

“Because you were with Gracie-”

“Gracie?” Anna cut her off.
“Swayer I knew Gracie for just few months but you… we’ve known each other for more than five years and you’re using Gracie as an excuse now?” Anna frowned.
All she wanted was to hear Swayer say she’s sorry and yet Swayer kept giving her excuses.

“Swayer just admit that you’ve made mistake already.” Chrystal rolled her eyes..

“Fine I’m sorry okay. I messed up, I admit it.” Swayer muttered.

“Finally but sadly I’m not the one you should be saying sorry to.” Anna said folding her arms across her chest.

“What?” Swayer furrowed her brows, wondering who else she owes an apology.

“You know what I’m talking about. The person you should apologize to is Sebastian not me.” Anna replied.

“What! Are you crazy?” Swayer frowned.

“You are the crazy one amongst us if you think a bet is the answer to Ivory’s obsession.” Chrystal retorted.

“Anna is right Swayer. You should apologize to Sebastian.” Fiona said pressing her lips into a thin line.

“Then what? He’ll stop talking to me. I feel like we’ve finally started bonding and now you want me to tell him I placed a bet on him? That would ruin everything.”

“You should have thought of that before involving us all in a bet. I like Sebastian, a lot but not enough to place a bet on him like he’s someone’s property.” Anna said and everyone faced her.

“I’m sorry what?” Chrystal was the first to ask.

“Oh come on, who doesn’t like Sebastian? He’s a lovable guy with a great personality. I like him very much but as a friend. I’m not obsessed with him.” Anna explained and everyone bounced their head.

Anna was right. Sebastian is a lovable guy with good humor and every girl that he come across would surely develop a soft spot for him.

“Sebastian deserves to know Swayer.” Fiona sighed.

“Know what?” Sebastian asked and everyone froze, slowly turning towards his direction.

“Sebastian?” Swayer asked in shock. When did he even enter the kitchen.

“What? You guys were taking too long to come to dinner so I decided to come check on y’all. What is it I should know?” Sebastian asked staring at them one after the other.

Kandle sighed as he watched Natasha sit alone at the balcony. She’s been introverted for days now and he’s worried about her. It seems no one else has noticed this in fact, it seems no one care for her here. Everyone is just focused on their problems and no one seems to notice her mood.

He has tried talking to her before but she didn’t give him much attention.
Aside Fabiola, no other girl here gives him much attention and it makes him feel lonely since the guys don’t talk much to him as well.

Kyle is still isolated in his room and Ethan isn’t much of a company since he’s always trying to get on everyone’s bad side.

Kandle exhaled once more before walking closer to Natasha.

Natasha suddenly noticed someone’s presence and quickly cleaned off the tears on her cheeks but Kandle noticed it.

“Hey are you okay?” He asked, slowly sitting next to her.

“I’m fine.” Natasha replied immediately. She silently prayed he didn’t see her cleaning off her tears but it seems he did because he didn’t take his eyes off her, like he was looking to see if her eyes were swollen before concluding she’s crying.

“You sure?” Kandle asked again to be sure.

“Look I’m not in the mood to chat okay. Just go in and have fun with the rest.” Natasha snapped.

Kandle chuckled, tearing his gaze off her face.

“It seems you’re stuck with me then. Cause I don’t also have anyone to talk to.” He muttered and Natasha looked at him briefly before lowering her gaze.

“Wh@ťěver.” Natasha said, fiddling with her fingers.

“Mine telling me what’s troubling you?” Kandle asked and Natasha faced him again with a sigh.

“My mum just called me to tell me she has signed the divorced papers. My parents are officially separated.” Natasha said with a chuckle but a bitter one.

“Ouch. Why did they divorce?” Kandle asked furrowing his brows.

“My dad had an affair with… I don’t even know with whom.” Natasha sighed.

“I’m sorry about that.” Kandle sighed, rubbing her back a little.

“What about you? What’s bothering you?” Natasha asked and Kandle smiled.

“Have you ever liked someone but the person doesn’t like you back?” Kandle asked instead.

Natasha didn’t even need to think twice about the question. Her mind immediately went to Sebastian. She really liked Sebastian but he never saw her that same way. She also hurt Shaun because of her attraction to Sebastian. She feels bad now because she’s lost them both.

Shaun now likes Fabiola and it’s obvious Sebastian likes Swayer. She’s once more all alone.

“Yeah, I know what that feels like.” Natasha sighed. She faced Kandle with a questionable gaze.

“May I know whom?” She asked with a slight smile.

“Does it matter? She’s with someone else now.” Kandle sighed.

Natasha faced him, staring at his face for a while. A crazy idea popped into her head and she smiled.

She tapped Kandle by the shoulder and he faced her.
Before he could ask what, she leaned in and pecked his lips.

Kandle widened his eyes in shock.

“Wha- Why?” He asked, blinking severally at her.

“We have to move on right? Maybe we can help each other.” Natasha smiled, leaning in again for a proper kiss this time but Kandle stood up immediately.

“It’s getting late. I think we should go in.” He said, rubbing the back of his head.
