“Power game? What’s this about?”
“Oh…Pardon me” A sweet voice was heard from behind.
“I dropped that there…thinking you would be interested”
Rowen blinked his eyes and turned around. His eyes fell on a lady, as much as it seems.
She had burns all over her face as it seemed so squeezed and red. Her face was so scarred that one wouldn’t recognize her for anything.
“Who are you?” Rowen finally got back to life.
The lady forced a smile on her scarred crooked lips.
“I’m Miss Eunice,,, also I’m actually from a gaming company in Mizxa (fictional city)” She said.
Her voice was so sweet and tender. It was too bad, her face didn’t conjoin with her beautiful voice.
“Mi…Miz,,, what now?” He widened his eyes.
Mizxa is one of the biggest, famous and richest city ever. Its close to I-town where Rowen stays.
Rowen has actually been sending game proposals and collaboration features to a particular rich, famous, gigantic and successful gaming company but he wasn’t ever called back.
“This should convince you now” The woman smiled and handed him her ID.
Rowen nearly chocked.
Her picture was there. Her present face, precisely.
She was really from Mizxa. And to top it all, she was from the gaming company, Rowen had been after ever since.
“Diamonds Gaming Company. I work as a director there. I’ve seen your numerous proposals-
“How am I sure you aren’t fake? You tryna scam me, huh??” He raised a brow, perturbed.
The lady laughed, beautifully.
“Do you have the contact info of my CEO. I mean CEO Harrisburg?” She asked.
He nodded, gently.
“Then,,, please…do give him a call” She whispered.
He nodded and took his phone out. He called the man, immediately.
“Hello sir. This is Rowen Stones from R-Stones Gaming-
“Oh,,, I see you’ve seen my director, Miss Eunice”
“Wh…What?” He stammered.
Firstly, he wondered how the man picked his call at once as if he was waiting for it.
Rowen swallowed hard in disbelief and it seemed Mr Harrisburg heard that.
“Wait…Let’s video call” He heard him say and Rowen’s eyes bulged out.
He accepted the incoming video call and he nearly screamed out of excitement. It was really him.
“Mr…Harrisburg!!” He screamed.
“Its so great to see you, sir!! Oh my gosh!!” written by sommy pearl f.
Mr Harrisburg laughed.
“Its fine”
“Sir,,, Have you gone through my proposals yet? Do you like any of them? What do you think? When will you be investing in my company?” Rowen asked, almost forgetting to breath.
The man laughed again.
“Actually, I wanna be a part of your company. I wanna do anything to help you and your company”
“Really!!”
“Yes” The man nodded.
“But,,, why me? Why me…why my mid company out of all companies?” Rowen asked.
“Well,,, My director suggested you…I mean, Miss Eunice”
He looked at her and bowed his head low in respect and in appreciation.
“It’s fine. I didn’t really do anything” She quickly said.
“Thank you. I really appreciate” He almost teared up.
“Its fine” She breathed.
“However. Huh…Miss Eunice has a condition. Do hear her out”
“Okay” Rowen nodded and the call ended.
“What’s the condition?” He asked.
“Here…” She handed him a contact.
“For you to get our company to help and be by your side. You need to play games” She explained.
“Games?” He asked.
“Yes” She nodded.
“Go through that contract and tell me what you think. If you are cool with it,, Let’s start immediately” She smiled.
He nodded, though he was anxious.
“Let’s go to my office”
“Nah. I’m cool here. Please,,, manage” She said.
He nodded and checked the contract. It was between him and Mrs Eunice.
POWER GAME was written at the top.
He read further.
– The contractor, Mr Rowen Stones is to play games with many others as possible to get his companies invested on and more, by Diamonds Gaming Company, Mizxa.
– The contractee, Miss Eunice Rae is to provide the location of the game, the games itself and conducts the rules and regulations of the games.
– If signed, there’s no backing out.
Rowen sighed and looked at her.
“But,,, why must we play games? It’s quite childish-
“And fun. We do it most times at Mixza. You don’t do it here?”
Rowen shook his head.
“Well,,, Let’s give it a shot. Play games for the growth of my company. Yes!”
“I’m sure your wife will be happy” She said.
“…Huh…Yeah,,, Very” He nodded and signed it.
“Here” He handed it to her.
“Wait. There’s another. The few rules of the game”
“Okay?” He collected it from her and opened it.
RULES & REGULATIONS OF POWER GAME.
– Any player who fails or loses a game gets eliminated.
– There’s no going back. Any player who gives up or stops halfway will be eliminated.
– The players will be ripped off, of any gadgets, whatsoever.
– Any player who tries to fight, harm or cause trouble to the game conductors will be eliminated.
– You might be taken unaware in order to play the game.
– Leaving the game arena is prohibited, as you would be eliminated if caught.
– As a player, after succeeding and leaving the game arena, you are expected to keep it confidential. Don’t say a word about it to anybody.

“Easy” He smirked and signed it.
“Good. See you” Eunice collected it.
“Excuse me??” He called.
She stopped walking and looked behind.

“Okay…” He wished he understood her last statement but he didn’t wanna query her.
A big black car suddenly stopped by her side and she opened the door.
Rowen started ascending the stairs.
“And oh,,, point of correction” Her tender voice stopped him.
He turned to her.
“I won’t be playing with any of you but…I’ll certainly be there to conduct abd make sure the games go well…and smooth”
