Anna’s POV
I opened my eyes slowly and my gaze locked with his. Just by looking at him, the memories I wish to forget came rushing
FLASHBACK
“My babies are so cute,” Clint said looking at them with a bright smile
I stared at him in his belief, this is coming from someone who never wanted the babies
“But you said you don’t want them” I voiced out my thoughts
“don’t get me wrong, I was just concerned about your career,” he said wrapping his hands on my waist fondly
“They look alike” I muttered resting my head on his chest
“Yeah” he whispered into my ear making me cringe a little
Just then his phone rang and he picked it up
“what do you mean?” he asked with his eyes burning with rage
“What, I’ll be there in a jiffy” he added before hanging up
“I’ll be right back, love you” he rushed grabbing his suit before rushing out
I sighed deeply, hoping all is well? he didn’t even tell me what happened.
HOURS LATER
I paced around the room worriedly, it’s been hours since he went out. He hasn’t returned since then
My phone buzzed and I checked the message
My eyes widened in shock as my phone fell from my hands, it can’t be. It’s a picture of Clint and Vanessa romancing. Clint loves me not Vanessa.
Vanessa is my rival in the modeling field. We were once friends but we had to call it to quit because of Clint. She had a huge crush on him but unfortunately for her, he chose me.
What could he be doing with her?
I bit my lips trying to prevent the tears from rushing out. I trust Clint, he can’t do that to me.
I waited for him throughout the night hoping he’ll come home and explain what is going on but he didn’t. He’s probably still with her
At dawn, I left the country together with Tracy leaving Kyle with his Dad

“you are awake,” he said jolting me out of my thoughts
“What are you doing here?” I asked coldly trying to stand up
“I’ve been looking around for you” he started
“looking around indeed, You should go back to Vanessa,” I said glaring at him
“Vanessa? how many times have I told you that I love you not Vanessa?”
“you love me? but you were with her that night, you even sent me a picture. You guys were…
I brushed my hand through my hair not knowing what to say anymore
” I sent a picture to you? “he asked with a slight frown
” of course you did, you even told me to leave you that you preferred Vanessa to me”
” Can you just hear me out? “he muttered
I sighed deeply sitting down on the couch
“After I rushed out of the house, I went straight to the company. I received a call that I lost a contract worth billions of dollars, and my secretary betrayed me. I Was devastated and angry at the same time, I stopped by a bar to drink. I’d hope to drink away my worries, I remembered getting drunk. I woke up only to find myself in a hotel, I rushed home knowing full well that you would be worried but I couldn’t find you. I saw a divorce paper on the bed also” he explained
” a divorce paper? I never did that”I replied
” it has your signature, I couldn’t even fathom why you left me,” he said
It must be Vanessa’s handwork, she knows my signature. She planned it all
I looked at him, he had that face, that innocent-looking face
“Am sorry” he added
“So you guys separated because of that?” Tracy asked making me turn to face her
“Am sorry, sweetheart” I muttered
“Why didn’t you take me along with you? I was raised by a nanny when my mother is alive, I didn’t get to experience that motherly love “Alex said making me feel guilty
