He released her hands and turned to her
“What do you think you are doing huh? Trying to make my mom like you?” He yelled
“Don’t yell at me” Kaylan yelled back.” You asked me to play this game so why are you yelling at me? I should even be the one angry here and not you Ďïčkhead”
“What? Ďïčkhead? Dean gasp . “You don’t talk to me that way, I’m still your boss”
” You told your mom I was your girlfriend without my consent was your offence. So anything I did in there, your girlfriend did them not me
“You’re the one who needs to apologize and not the other way round” Kaylan said
“Apologize?” He scoff
“You don’t need to see me off, Just go enjoy your boring and lonely life” She glared at him like he was some sought of dirt
Have a nice day Sardine.. she said before walking out fully.
“Wow,,, Sardine?.. I can’t believe this.. how dare she? He growled before walking back into the house
“Is she gone?” Brittany asked but he ignored her and proceeded to his room
“I’m talking to you Dean” she half yelled and he turned to faced her
“Yeah, yeah,,,,She’s gone”
“Why didn’t you tell me about her? She asked
“Isn’t grandchildren what you need? I will give you” He said and started climbing the stairs
“What’s wrong with him? Why’s he angry?” Brittany asked Collins
“He didn’t want her to leave” Collins replied
” Really?” Brittany asked with a glint of excitement in her eyes and Collins nodded
” Well, I just hope she wouldn’t be like Tyler that Ɓîtçh” she said sadly
” I know how hard my Dean suffered to make it back to the top. He almost went crazy and was kept at the rehab center for 2 years before he could get his mind back,,, my poor son” Brittany burst into tears
” It’s alright mom,, it’s in the past now” Collins consoled her
” Kaylan won’t do that to him right? ” Brittany asked amidst tears
” Kaylan is decent, I doubt she’ll do anything bad to him” Collins replied
” You think so?” She wiped her tears
“Yes, I’m sure of it” Collins replied and cleared her tears
“Don’t cry anymore” he added and she nodded before standing up on her feet
“I’ll be on my way now, take care of your self okay? “.
“Alright Mom.. take care”
“Tell that arrogant brother of yours that I left” she said before heading out
“I will.. just take care of yourself… Love you” Collins waved and she smiled
“Don’t forget to introduce your girlfriend to me” she shouted from outside
“I won’t” he forced a smile and shut the door

~~~Three weeks later~~~
Weeks passed and Mrs Anderson was doing fine though she was still at the hospital.
Kaylan also didn’t stop going to his place since she needed to act like his girlfriend though she’ll be staying with him only after the insemination
He kept giving her cold shoulders and she’s been wondering if he just h@ťěs her naturally or if she reminded him of something bad.
Is it because I speak to him without honorifics? Kaylan wondered
“Kaylan. Why is sir Dean not coming to visit us anymore” Molly asked bringing her out of her thoughts
“He’s just very busy” Kaylan replied
” he’ll come over when he is chanced” she added
” Alright” Molly said
Kaylan looked at their mom who was sleeping soundly and she smiled.
“If not for him, what would have become of us?” She muttered lowly and a tear rolled down her cheek
“You’re crying? Is everything okay?” Molly asked
“I’m just happy” Kaylan smile
“We’ll be leaving here tomorrow” she Said . “So go home and clean up” she told Molly and Molly nodded before exiting the ward

~~ Next morning~~
Kaylan did some dishes for her mom before going back to the hospital leaving Molly to take care of the house
She quickly took her bath and headed straight to the hospital. She met Dean and Collins at the door to the ward and for some reasons, she felt happy seeing them
“Good morning Sir Dean.. good morning Collins” She greeted and Dean nodded while Collins frown.
“This is pure discrimination” He pouted and Kaylan arch a brow at him
“Why is he Sir Dean when I’m just Collins?” He said and Kaylan chuckled
“My bad. I’m sorry Sir Collins” She said and they both laughed
“Why didn’t you two go in?” She asked Collins
“We were waiting for you” Collins replied
” Ohh, Let’s go in then” She said and the all walked into the ward
“Good morning mom”Kaylan greeted sitting close to her
“Good morning ma’am” Collins and Dean greeted
“Morning to you too” Mrs Anderson replied with a smile
“Thank you for letting me live longer” she said
“You should thank God instead ma’am ” Collins replied while Kaylan smile
“Is it time for us for us to go home?”Mrs Anderson asked and Kaylan nodded before helping her with her things
“We will take you home” Collins said and she smiled as they left the room
“Sir Dean” A nurse called, coming to meet them
” Doctor banks wanna talk to you” she said and left
“I’ll meet you there” he said to Collins and walk away
“I will be back” Kaylan said and Collins nodded
She headed to doctor bank’s office and cracked the door open. They turned to her immediately
“I’m sorry for interrupting” she apologize
“What are you doing here?” Dean asked coldly
” I came to…
“I will leave now Uncle” Dean cut in
“But… Doctor banks didn’t complete his statement when he walked out
“Dean, Dean” Kaylan called running after him but he didn’t stop.
She grabbed his hands and made him face her. His eyes held so much disdain and hatred
“Do you h@ťě me that much?” Kaylan asked and watch his mouth moved like he wanted to say something but the words weren’t forth coming
“It’s been three weeks now you’ve been ignoring me. I’m grateful you helped my family and I’m trying to be nice so I can repay your kindness but you wouldn’t even talk to me. If I offended you in anyway, I’m sorry,,,, it’s hurts when you behave like this towards me when all I’m trying to do is be nice to you” She released his hands
” I’m sorry if I ever crossed my boundaries” she sigh before walking away
“Kay…Kaylan.. he called calmly and her heart skip beats
That was the first time he’ll be calling her name that way.
“We will fulfill the contract when you are ready….And Mom has been on my neck this few weeks,,,, she wants us to go on a date” He said and walk pass her
“But … She trailed off and he faced her
“Nothing” She said and he didn’t hesitate to walk out on her
