Valerie entered Andres room and went to join him on the chair.
“I thought you followed him” Andres broke the silence that ensued between them.
“I came back” she muttered.
Andres stares at her.
“For me?” He asked.
“I’m sorry for what happened earlier, you got hit because of me” she mumbled.
“It’s fine, Fernando can be like that sometimes”
“About what you said earlier, I don’t think I can accept it. I’m sorry” she said.
“Why? Because of Fernando? Or, do you have someone else in mind?” He asked.
Valerie shook her head.
“It’s just not right, I can’t do this. I’m sorry, Andres” she said.
Andres felt hurt when she addressed him by his name, he was already used by the name she do call him.
“Val, I promise to protect you, don’t do this to me. I don’t think I can do without you” Andres pleaded.
“I know how you feel, but…. I’m sorry” she muttered.
Andres expression changed.
“Is this because of Fernando?” He asked slowly.
“I don’t want you two to become enemies because of me, that would make me h@ťě myself. This is for the best, and I… I don’t have any feelings for you” she said.
“I’m sorry this dinner had to be ruined” she stood up and went out of the room.
Andres closed his eyes and held his fist tight.
“This is for the best?” He chuckled.

FERNANDO’S ROOM****
Fernando entered his room walking slowly, the scene of how Valerie pushed him away couldn’t even leave his head. It hurts to the core.
He never intended to hurt her with his words, he did it for her good. He didn’t want her to get caught up in his problems, he just did the best thing for her
He went to the bed, he lay on it and closed his eyes. His mind drifted to Andres, he still found it hard to believe he’d still do that to him, knowing that Valerie was his from the beginning.
He quickly stood up when he remembered the letter Don gave to him, the writing actually looked familiar to him.
He opened the drawer where he kept it and brought it out, he kept it there because he felt it might be very useful in catching the spy.
“Whose writings is this?” He asked himself, staring intently at the letter.
“I remember I only told Alex and Andres not to tell Don about the incident, but the spy went ahead to tell him. Who could it be?” He placed his hand on his chin as he’s deep in thought.
“Andres?” He shook the thought off.
“Andres can’t dare do that to me, we’re brothers”
“Then Alex?” He picked the paper and stared at the letter again.
“If Alex should be the spy, then this writing should be his. I have to find out” he placed the paper in the drawer back before moving to the window.
“Alex, if you should end up being the spy then why did you do it?” He asked, staring at the sky.

CAMILA’S ROOM***
“Val! How did it go?” Camila asked immediately Valerie entered the room. It was as it she had been expecting her.
“It went bad, Andres wants me to be his woman and then Fernando came. It didn’t ended well” Valerie muttered.
“Andres wants you to be his woman and the Boss came at that moment? Whoa! This is hella complicated. How will Andres think of doing that when he’s fully aware you’re the Boss’s woman? That’s really bad of him, he just betrayed the Boss since they’re brothers” Camila said.
Valerie sighed. That’s just it, she didn’t want to be the bone of contention between the two friends.
“So, what was the Boss action?” Camila asked, breaking her out of her thought.
“He punched him, I had to stop him before he do something worse”
“Seriously? Why will you do that? He really needs to teach that Andres a lesson, just when I thought he was a good person” Camila said.
“Camy” Valerie mumbled.
“What? I’m right tho. So, why are you here? Shouldn’t you go to the Boss and apologize to him, you need to assure him that there’s nothing between you two”
“I can’t” Valerie said and went to the bed.
Camila scoffed.
“You can’t? Are you being serious?” She went to her.
“He doesn’t deserves it, he’s a jerk and I h@ťě him” Valerie muttered.
Camila blinks her eyes in confusion.
“You can’t? Why? Did something happened between you two?” She asked and sat beside her on the bed.
“Did he hurt you before?” She asked
“It hurts whenever I think about it, can you please skip that question?” Valerie asked.
Camila pouts before hugging her.
“That’s gonna be very hard, you know I’m always curious. But, I’m gonna do that for you” she said.
Valerie chuckled.
“Thanks, Camy”
“Seriously, when I see the Boss, I’m gonna hit him very hard on his face for making you sad. Tch, just when I thought he was the good person here”
Valerie laughed.
“Can you really do that?” She asked.
“No” Camila quickly replied.
They both laughed.
“Thank you, Camy for making me smile” Valerie mumbled.
“You don’t have to, you know you’ll always be my baby” she said, hugging her tight.
“Really? If I should see things the way they are, I’m older than you” Valerie said, breaking the hug.
“Oh spare me that, you can’t be. I’m older” Camila argued.
“Then kindly tell me your age, I’m sure you’re still a 15 years old kid with this small body of yours” Valerie laughed.
“Me? I’m 21 and you’re 20 or 19 right?” Camila smiled proudly.
“You’re wrong, I’m 22. I’m older” she stuck her tongue.
Camila pouts and stomped her feet on the floor like a kid.
“This is unfair, Jade is also older” she let out a dramatic wail.
“Sorry babes” Valerie winked with a giggle.
“I h@ťě you” Camila said
“I love you” Valerie grinned.
Camila smiled before hugging her again
“I love you more. Smile always, okay? I h@ťě it when you’re sad” she said
“Thanks Camy” Valerie muttered.

ARTURO’S HIDEOUT***
Arturo sips the alcohol in the glass slowly as he’s so deep in thought.
His mind drifted to Don and he smirked.
“He received the message already, but why is he so silent?” He asked himself.
The door opened and Diego, his right hand man entered.
“Boss” he bowed.
“We have news from our spy” Diego said.
Arturo’s head snapped to him at once.
“What did he say? Why is Fernando and Don so low nowadays? I’m getting tired already, I want to ki|| then ASAP” Arturo said
“He said he have some news for us concerning Fernando” Diego said.
“Tell him to come tomorrow, I’m tired of receiving calls and letters” Arturo snapped.
“He already told me to tell you that. He’ll be here tomorrow” Diego said.
Arturo smiled.
“Now, that’s it. I really need to know what’s going on with Nando’s life now” he sips the alcohol.
“What about her? Has she eaten?” He asked.
Diego shook his head.
“She refused to eat her food, she just keep staring into space” he replied.
“What should we do about her?”
“Just let her be, she’ll eat it when she hungry” Arturo said.
Diego nodded his head before taking his leave.
“This alcohol tastes so good” Arturo smiled.
