“Kev! Wait!” Cindy suddenly said and he opened his eyes.
“I can’t…Sorry” She whispered and he withdrew his face.
“Think about it. If I truly loved you,,, Would my feelings just have withered just like that? I think I was just infatuated by you” She whispered.
“I’m really sorry for misunderstanding you in the first and its really my fault. But, there’s nothing I can do” She added.
“Is there no way for your feelings for me to grow back?” He asked, sadly.
“No way. Even though, I try to love you back,,, It won’t seem genuine. I…dont like you as a man, Kev. I’m sorry. Besides,,,I…I love Oliver now. I’m so much in love with him” She mumbled, looking down.
“Its fine. You can love him as much as you want. I’m just gonna love you on my own” Kev forced a smile. written by sommy pearl f.
Cindy quickly looked at him.
“No… Please don’t, I can’t cause you more pain. It would only make you feel lonely and hurt. Please,,,, Please…Can you just let me go. Let your feelings for me go?”
“I’m sorry but I can’t. When you need me, you know where to find me. When your feelings come back, I’m close by. If Oliver f_cks up, run to me. I promise to hold you forever but for now, I ain’t ready to ever let you go,,, Cindy. Not now, not ever”
Cindy sighed and wiped the tears that managed to escape out from her eyes. She didn’t know what else to say to him.
Suddenly, Cindy’s phone rang. She took it out. It was a unsaved number.
“Hello?” She whispered.
“Its your cousin” A whisper came.
“Malcolm?” She widened her eyes and Kev turned to her.

“Where’s he?! Aren’t you his so called girlfriend?” Mr Chadwick barked.
Ariana, Oliver and Ken sighed deeply.
“Actually,,, Malcolm disappeared” Ariana murmured.
“What!”
“What sorta joke is this. Its lame, okay? I know he’s hiding so please call him out now. Tell him to face his wrath from me” Mr Chad frowned.
Rhoda sighed.
“She’s right. He’s missing”
“How do you expect me to believe y’all!” He shouted.
Ariana sighed.
“Malcolm was with me last night. Then,,, this morning, I woke up, I didn’t see him in the house at all. It was unusual for I knew he was supposed to wake me, and send his farewell before leaving”
“I made a call to him but I heard his phone ringing on the TV shelf. When I went closer, I saw a flash drive on it. I watched the content and was terrified. Then, made a call to the others. They rushed in and watched it with me”
“They too…They were terrified and shocked” Ariana swallowed.
Mr Chad scoffed.
“How do I know it isn’t a trick”
“Show him the video” Ken muttered.
Ariana nodded and walked to Rhoda.
“Where’s it?” She asked.
Rhoda handed her the flash drive.
“Wait!” Rhoda quickly held her hand.
“Why?” Ariana asked.
“That’s the wrong one. Mistake” Rhoda tilted her head, with a smug on her face.
“What do you mean?” Ariana asked.
Rhoda stood up and came closer to her.
“That where your s*x scene with Malcolm lies” She whispered.
“Here. The genuine one” She handed it to her and sat down back.
Ariana looked at the flash drive and sighed.
“Make sure to discard that”
“Sure…” Rhoda forced a smile.
Ariana walked to the TV and inserted it. She switched it on and made it play.
Malcolm was in his bedroom when he was video recording himself.
“This is my last farewell. To everyone. When I mean everyone,, I really mean every f_cking one” He stated right and clear.
“Don’t try to find me cause you won’t. Don’t look for me at all. It not just a warning but a command. Of course. I’m sure Mr Chad will be mad at me by now. So,,, I’m gonna make up for it. I’m gonna resign. I’m not singer MK anymore. I’m like every normal dude… Now,,, I take my leave. Bye” He said and the video ended.
“What’s this? He didn’t even give a reason for disappearing just like that? Have you talked to the cops?” Mr Chad asked.
“No…Didnt you see the warning he gave??” Ken frowned.
“Okay then. I guess its over. I’ll take my leave then. Such sad” He shook his head and left.
“So,,, Is this the end of our gang?” Oliver cooed.
Ken swallowed.
“I guess”
Rhoda stood up.
“Everybody goes home then” She sighed and left.

“Mister? Where are you?” She whispered, bent down and began to cry.
