Sam and Lannon were worried. While Sam paced around angrilly, Lannon sat thinking. At intervals, Sam would cuss at Lannon for letting all these befall on Lila.
“If Lila dies, it I’ll be all on you”she sneered “You’re just seated nonchalantly like nothing is at stake. Three nights Lannon, three nights and all you do is just sit. I can’t even imagine what she most be going through.”She yelled, tears trickling down her cheek. Her emotions burst out and all she could do was rant. She had no ideas where Lila was.
Lannon didn’t see a word and she was pissed. Since she came earlier that morning, he hadn’t said a word.
“Say something. Aren’t you tired of being quiet?”she yelled.
“If you want to yell all day Sam, that’s fine with me” he finally said. Truth be told, he was thinking the most, scared that he would probably lose Lila. Scared of a lot of things.
Sam finally took a seat aggressively “please do something”she cried unto him.
“I’m thinking my best Sam. Be calm” he literally yelled. For, she was putting so much pressure on him and he really didn’t like it.
Sam slowly leaned her back on the chair she sat on and tried calming her troubled nerves. “have you tried the number again?” she asked.
“Yes”he replied “This will end soon Sam” he assured her.

Ivory’s head was pounding, spinning and aching so hard, she wasn’t sure what was happening. But the bright light that penetrated into her eyes forced her to flicker her eye lids open and she blinked repeatedly.
A touch was pointed directly to her eyes, so she couldn’t see the person behind the torch. She remembered how Dave had succeeded in segzing her and she was so angry.
“Dave, just stop it already!” she bawled. She knew he was definitely the one behind the torch.
She tried to stand up from the floor she sat on, but the rope that held her hands behind her back hindered her movement.
“Just stop it already Dave. You’ve done enough!”she was so angry.” You release our daughter and you face me alone.” She stated bravely. She couldn’t believe Lila had suffered so much in this monster’s hands.
The torch still shunned in her eyes.
“You can still talk ivory. And here I thought I had segzed a weak woman”she finally heard the man’s annoying voice and she balled her hands behind her in a fist.
“You let our daughter go!”she yelled
“Our daughter?” Dave smirked “if I segz her, would that still make her our daughter?”he laughed irritatingly. Then, he finally put off the torch and everywhere was completely dark. Worst of all, Ivory didn’t even know where they were if at all she thought of a way to escape. From the look of things, it was already night.
“Tell me where it is Ivory” he suddenly said “And, I promise, I will let you and your daughter go.” he grinned in the dark.
“Put on the light Dave!” Ivory tried to struggle and her hand suddenly grazed upon a sharp surface behind her that gave her a cut and blood began to seep out.
She winced in pain as an idea popped in her mind. That sharp surface could definitely cut the rope that tied her hand and she’d be able to escape. So, she moved her hand to the surface and began to move the rope up and down the surface so it would slice through.
“Will you do that Ivory? Tell me where it is and end your torture” Dave said. Oblivious of Ivory’s deeds in the darkness where they were.
“Fine, I’ll tell you where it is” she grunted frustratingly after cutting herself free off the rope on her hands. She was finally free and there was every opportunity for her to run.
Dave was too obsessed in his dreams of what he was going to use with what he wanted from her. So, he didn’t notice her movement.
He crouched to her level on the ground and moved close to her face, inhaling her sweet scent. He raised her chin so she could look at him properly,
“Where? Tell me?” he asked almost hurriedly.
Ivory laughed before she spat, “In your balls!” and she kicked him immediately in his groin and stood up in a sprint, picking up the touch that fell from his hand while he fell.
