“I’m following you to the Opera House tommorow seriously, I can’t believe I missed it” Anita said when Lotus finished narrating everything.
“If I’d go, we’ll surely go together” she replied.
“You must go, and why do you look so happy?, Is it only because you sang?”
“Actually…. I hugged all the boys including Starr”Lotus said.
“Are you happy cos you hugged all the boys or cos you hugged Starr?” Anita said suspiciously.
“I dunno” Lotus replied.
“I got you…but why were you avoiding him before?”
“Since my tears smell like him, I had this feeling that maybe it’s because he’ll make me cry a lot” Lotus pouted.
“Silly mermaid, I’m sure that’s not it, so what changed your mind?” Anita asked.
“I just thought otherwise, but when we hugged, it was…” Lotus said.
“Was?” Anita asked.
“Nosy ghost” Lotus replied and they laughed.
“Oh!, I forgot to say you’ll need a phone!, What if your new friends ask for your number” Anita said.
“I saw them using it, I should have got one, I forgot!” Lotus replied and her eyes flashed blue on the table, a phone appeared.
“Whoa! Cool magic, so where did this phone come from?” Anita asked.
“My thoughts” she replied.
“How can a phone probably come from your thoughts?”
“Power of magic” Lotus replied and opened her right palm, an heap ashes is right there.
“My ashes!” Anita gasped shockingly.
“Not from my thoughts this time around, but from the car you were burnt with, my thoughts brought it here anyways” Lotus as.
“What are you gonna do with it?”
“Your classmate..” Lotus smiled.
“Do Hyun” Anita said.
“Oh…Do Hyun is her name, her torment starts tomorrow” Lotus smiled.
“How?” Anita asked.

NEXT MORNING, SEONGPPA HIGHSCHOOL**
Lotus and Anita stood in front of the school gate, looking at the incoming students, Lotus is
Invisible right now.
She’s dressed for school already.
“Lead us to your class” she said and Anita led the way.
They got to the class and met a girl, hitting another girl on the face harshly, the other girl is just receiving the hits while crying and the other students watched silently.
“That’s Do Hyun” Anita pointed at the bully.
Lotus looked at the ashes on her palm and walked to the scene.
She blew the ashes on Do Hyun’s face and she stopped bullying the girl immediately, she started rubbing her eyes roughly.
“My eyes!, My eyes!” She shouted.
By the time she stopped running, her eyes turned red already and she started seeing ghosts in the class, the students started seeming like ghosts to her.
Scary spooky ones that are coming for her with blood on their hands.
“Don’t come close!, Don’t come closer!, Don’t come closer please…ghosts!, Ghosts!!, Ghosts!!!!” She screamed, balling up herself in a corner.
The students stared at her surprisingly, thinking she has gone crazy.
“Ghosts!, Go away!!, Go away don’t come!!, Aaarggghh!!!!!!!!” She screamed, running out of time class.
She’s still shouting as she ran and kept bumping into students.
“What happening to her?” Anita asked.
“Everyone she comes across from now on will look like ghosts to her, she’ll be tortured by her own imagination till she loses her mind” Lotus replied.
“What about her dad, Mr Do” Anita asked.
“I’ll come for him after school, I’m gonna be late” Lotus smiled.
“I’ll walk home” Anita said.
“No” Lotus replied and made them teleport home.
“Have a nice day” Anita waved as she got into the car.
“Sure, watch TV shows don’t be bored at home” Lotus replied.

MELODY MUSICAL HIGH**
? Did you come to OH last night?

? She sang like seriously.
? Ever heard of a fallen angel?, That’s her, her voice was like…so sweet!

? Ophelia lost her place.
? But I’m Jealous, Lotus has everything, she’s perfect.
Lotus smiled prettily as she made her way to class, hearing various heartwarming comments about her.
She opened the class door and stepped in but bumped into Ophelia.
They both staggered.
“Are your eyes dysfunctional?, Go away!” Ophelia barked and pushed her roughly.
Lotus staggered again but more roughly this time.
The ground would have been her next chair but an arm caught her waist, stopping her from falling.
The scent said it all, no need to look up.
“Why would you push her?” Starr asked, still not letting go of Lotus.
“She bumped into me!, And why would you hold her waist like that!” Ophelia shouted.
Starr quickly let go of Lotus.
“It’s unfair that she’s new here but you’re already talking to her, we’ve been here together since junior class but you wouldn’t even look at me?, Am i ugly?” Ophelia started shedding crocodile tears.
Starr looked at Lotus and she blinked.
Ophelia came closer at once and hugged Starr.
“We fit more than you two, you’ll like me if you get to know me better Starr” she continued crying.
“Can you get off me?” He said.
“So much for a Friday morning, new couple sighted whoo hoo!!” Bluey shouted, coming with Martin.
He snapped countless pictures of Ophelia and Starr already.
“Good morning cupcake!” Martin said, taking Lotus’s hand.
He went in with her immediately.
Starr finally pushed Ophelia away roughly, her hair scattered on her face.
“Don’t dare try that again, don’t” he said meanly and went in too.
Lilac and Floyd finally came out of their corners and Ophelia wiped her tears.
She brought out her mirror, looking at her face as she arranged her hair.
“Did you snap the pictures?” She asked, still arranging.
“Trust us” Floyd said and they showed her.
“Let’s go” she smiled, entering the class with them.
They didn’t have time to chitchat cos Mr Roger came in immediately.
“Morning Mr Roger!” They chorused.
“Morning class!, And Lotus, if what I heard last night is true, then you need to come out and prove it right now” he replied.
“f_cking true!” Yolanda said.
Lotus stood and walked to the front.
“Starr why don’t you play the piano” Mr Roger said.
“With pleasure sir” Starr smiled and played CATCH IT.
Ophelia watched with much hatred as Lotus sang.

“Oh Lord” Mr Roger said, unable to close his mouth.
Miss Stacy came in and several other music teachers from junior classes.
They all had their mouths open as she sang.
The song ended three minutes later and everyone clapped thunderously.
Lotus kept smiling, standing still.
“Are you a human?” Mr Roger asked and Lotus got scared.
“A human can’t possibly have this voice seriously” Miss Stacy added .
The other teachers passed nice comments and Lotus resumed smiling.
“Ophelia, you’re automatically stepped down as the best singer” Mr Roger said and Ophelia spranged up.
“What!”
“Constance was the best before you came but she stepped down for you when you came, so why the fuss?” Miss Stacy said.
Ophelia left the class immediately.
“Lotus you’re special, I’m glad to have you here” Mr Roger said.
She smiled.
“Classes starts by 12pm, see ya!” He said and left
“I love you Lotus” Miss Stacy winked and left too.
Students shrouded around Lotus, giving her compliments.
“I know she’s now a star but please…we need to go now!” Yolanda said, taking Lotus out of the class with the girls.
“Best singer, I’m sure you’d be the lead singer at the president son’s birthday party next week” Constance said.
“President’s son?” Lotus asked
Rhythm was about to explain further when Martin appeared.
“Cupcake will you stroll with me?” He asked, smiling.
“Aww!” Constance gushed.
“Hey Lotus!” Starr said, coming over too.
He spread his palm forward.
“I want to stroll the school with you… please?” He asked.
“What the…” Yolanda said shockingly.
“Oh my gosh!” Rhythm said
Lotus looked at Starr then at Martin before folding her lower lip into her mouth..
