Christabel’s pov
I’d do my best to avoid her.
“You’re coming with me. You can’t disobey the King’s order” The prince replied.
“The queen asked me to come?” My eyes widened.
“Hmm”
“Okay, I’m coming but we will have to come back early. Please.” I pleaded.
“Are you avoiding someone?”
“Yes, and it’s princess Diana.” I replied.
“Oh! Don’t worry, she left with others. You don’t have to come with me to the palace.”
“Why? I thought you said……” He cut me off by applying a methylated spirit on the cut which made me winced. “Ouch! That hurts!”
“You should be careful next time.” He scoffed. “Neither am I going too. The talk is just going to be a competition that is going to happen in the school. Here. ‘Boy in girl’s dressing’ ”
“Huh? Boy in girl’s dressing? What kind of competition is that?” I chuckled. What a silly competition.
“The competition is about a boy dressing and behaving like a girl. The best will be given a prize. My father wants you to do that.” He explained and that made my jaw dropped.
“What the hell? Did you tell your father I’m a girl?” I whispered.
“No, he just thought you could do it since you actually look like a girl.” His lopsided smile was so charming. He looked up at me, our face were an inch apart cause I bent down to examine my leg but stopped halfway. “You could do it. I know.” He added.
“I’m not doing that, my prince. What if I get caught that I’m actually a girl?” I said, worriedly
That’s looks like a risk.
“You can.” With that, he kissed my cheek and stood up. He packed his things into the first aid box and dropped it from where he took it from.
“I’m risking my identity. Is the prize that important?”
“No. It just a competition that happens every year. Other schools here and in another kingdoms will be participating. Boys only.”
“That’s crazy! I will be the only girl among the boys contestants? Scary! I can’t do that.” I shook my head and tried to stand up but the prince pushed me back.
“I will be with you. Don’t worry. I’m not interested in the prize so as my father though. I’m only eager to see you as a girl, pretty.”
