Chapter 31?

Pieces of paper, files and pins scattered on a table. Jedrek smirked, seeing what he always dreamt of seeing.

A knock.

He hisses, standing to peep through the door keyhole. Knowing who it was, he turned the key, opening the door.

Rime enters, going straight to the fridge. “What are all this?” He asks, gulping all contents of the bottle water.

“What will lead us to finishing our biggest rival.” He replied, going back to checking out the papers.

Rime grabs a stool, picking a sudden interest. “If I may ask, how did you get all this?” He asks.

“It’s not important, we have what we want now.” He replied sharply and Rime nodded, grabbing his laptop.

A message suddenly pops up and he seemed surprised as he wasn’t the type to receive messages either SMS or Mails.

Trying to shrug it off, he clicked on the message notification, switched on his data and waited for it to load.

After sometime, the message opened; he looked shocked!

Unknown – A video.

He gulped as his palms sweats, reaching his earphones shakily.

Shaking when you hasn’t seen the video yet? – Another message popped in.

He swallowed, refusing to accept the reading receipt of the second message then clicked on the first video.

He fixing a CCTV camera in a certain room, tiptoeingly leaving the room as the camera was faced at the center of the room.

He fixing another camera in a certain hallway, wanting to capture all scenario which was going to take place in the room.

Beads of sweat formed on his head as he rubbed his palms together.

Another message popped in, he was getting hypertensive and frustrated, not wanting to know what was in the third message.

He closed the laptop, looking at his boss who was so much indulged in his files and papers, he opened the laptop again.

Summoning one eighth of his courage, he opened the message; another video.

This shows where Prince Flynn had ki||ed five maids with a sword and sent the remaining into the freezing dungeon.

Another part of the video shows Prince Flynn stopping a black arrow with his bare hands; black smoke coming out of it.

He paused the video, looking at the email of the sender but could only see Unknown!

Jedrek smiled, putting the lens on a particular part of a certain paper. “And this is what we have been looking for.” He muttered.

Thin lines of a blur Lycan, jumping on trees, cutting branches with it’s large feet and palms.

Brittany enters into the room, banging the door as maybe a greeting to the sleeping sorceress. “What’s the matter?” She asks, sitting up on the bed.

Brittany scoffs, without giving her a reply, she walked briskly into the bathroom and also banged the door.

Some minutes after, Milena also entered with her face frowned. “Whoa! What’s wrong with you too?” She asks.

Milena didn’t even utter a word as she dropped her bag, carrying an empty tray on the tray and went to the kitchen, also banging the door.

Naptha understood already that they have fought again. Before she could think of another thing, doors opened.

Brittany came out the bathroom, drying her hair with a spare towel and Milena entered with a tray full of food and a glass of milk; their eyes met but they looked away instantly.

Milena quietly sat at the other side of the bed, eating her food and topping it with the cold liquid milk.

Brittany finished drying her hair, dressed in a short gown and went out, banging the door more fiercely, almost causing causing Naptha to jump.

Naptha sighed two times but Milena did not even seem to hear her sigh. Brittany comes in with a tray filled with food and three apples.

“What’s wrong with the both of you?” She asked, none of them answered her as each were duely focused on their food.

She stands up, placing her hands akimbo. “Can someone please tell me what is going on here?!” She screams.

They both look at her like she has suddenly gone insane. “It’s her fault!” They both yell pointing to each other accusingly.

Naptha sighed, calming her breath. “The earlier someone starts explaining, the better for the both of you.” She hit the bed with her palms.

“In the cafeteria, something happened and I started vomiting blood.” Brittany started and Naptha’s eyes widened.

“Did you eat something bad or you have a sort of allergy?” Naptha asks worriedly and Brittany shook her head.

“They all offered me water and were trying to find the cause of the vomiting but couldn’t find a clue until a fight issued up between my friend and some girls.” She continued.

“And I saved her…” Milena chipped in.

“You didn’t!” She fired.
“Maltilda did…” She replied.

Naptha’s one brow perked up. “Who is Maltilda? Oh…one of your friends?” She asks.

Brittany shook her head negatively. “Her demon.” She responded.

Naptha looked to and fro. “I never knew demons had a human name?” She laughed and seeing the girls frown, she shut her mouth.

“I see nothing causing an argument here. Tell me, what causes your fight?” She asks the oblivious question.

“She is here bothered about why she isn’t in control of her body while I almost coughed blood to death two hours ago.” Brittany glared fiercely at her.

Naptha started laughing. “Are you on your…circle? I mean…monthly…” She cranked up even more earning a scoffed Brittany.

“I’m sorry. I was just mad at myself for not being in control of my body, someone cannot pop up anytime, anyhow.” Milena sighed.

“But at least, she helped.” Brittany retorted.

“Your demon helped her and she’s angry you couldn’t do anything. What if you had no demon or she didn’t take charge at the right time?” Naptha says, facing Milena.

“And she is only at herself not you for not being able to control her body and even to help you in time of trouble.” She says, facing Brittany.

“You are not supposed to fight, it’s just a terrible misunderstanding okay?” She pleaded to the two teens.

Ryder enters into the first Prince Chambers. “You called for me, your highness.” He bowed.

Prince Flynn sits up on the bed. “Gather the men together, it’s time for training.” He said, rubbing his jawline slightly.

“Yes sir but I don’t think Prince Jean is around so we have no trainer.” He said, bowing again.

Prince Flynn stands up, dressed in armoured clothes. “I’ll be your trainer today.” His voice chilling as he spoke.

Ryder looks at him through a corner of his eyes, seeing dark lines and circles around his master’s eyes; he sighed, opening the door.

In the training room…

Counting all the men in the room, they were a total of a hundred.”You all were beaten by that Mafia and you bring shame to me.” He started, his loud cold voice echoed in the room.

Their heads were down, in shame. “You should be stronger and unbeatable as you are my armours outside.” He continued, walking in their middles.

“Today, we start training afresh so muster all strength you can gather as you will fight to be unbeatable!” He growled and they hailed, raising their swords in the air.

“You have all being trained with swords but in Mafia world, we use guns and martial arts!” He shouted as his steps could not be heard but it held power!

“Put your swords away…” He ordered and they concurred I’mmediately.

“Rule number 1, follow orders and guide yourselves with your principles.” He places his hand against his back.

They knew what to do: they all fell to the ground at once, in a press up position.

“Rule number two, no distractions! Even if it is your wife, girlfriend, child or someone very dear to you.”

“You must not be distracted!” They all shouted in response.

“Rule number 3, you are in a fight and your mind must be put together meaning?” He asked.

“ki|| them or they ki|| you!” They shouted in response.

He walked in their middles, taking circles. “Sorry, I can’t hear you?” He places one of his palms at the side of his head.

“Fight till death!” Their voice resounded in the echoing room.

“Now, begin!” He ordered and each of them began to press up, putting their weight on the hands and legs as they do press ups.

Ryder stands alert with a long whip in his hand, ready to whip anyone who falls down to the floor; they wouldn’t even dare.

Muffled, rough and heavy breaths could be heard as they were all sweating profusely at the count of two hundred but they weren’t stopping yet when their Master is at the corner of the room eating a fruit.

Whips landed at the back of some when they made a tiny mistake of stopping, trying to take a rest or falling on the floor due to their shaky hands and legs.

Master Flynn stood up, throwing the remains of the fruit away somewhere. He raised his hands up and most of them collapsed on the floor, gasping for breathe.

“We are just starting…” He smirked and they all straightened up at once.

Tbc……..
