Shannon raised her head slightly a bit and took off her glasses. She flaunted her hair, shaking her head, which threw her long hair about.
She rubbed her hair down with her palm and faced him.
“Shannon?” He called, almost immediately.
Shannon looked at him, confusedly. She gave out a light chuckle and touched her chest.
“Sorry, do I know you?” She asked.
He took down his mask and her eyes widened. She gasped loudly and pointed her index finger at him.
“The….the gardener?” She stuttered.
The nurse who heard it, laughed softly.
Noel thew a quick cold glare at her and she quickly composed herself.
He looked bact at Shannon.
“Surprised?” He smiled.
“What…What are you do…doing here? Why are you wearing all this??” She asked.
He chuckled.
“You never listened to me. I’m actually a dentist…not a gardener. Welcome to my world” He spread out his arms.
“How have you been, Shannon?” He asked.
She looked away.
“I didn’t come to talk to you. Attend to me so that I can leave here on time. I don’t have any more excuses to give to my son”
He signed deeply.
“Okay then. We will meet and talk later. So, what problem do you have with your tooth?” He asked.
“I get this sharp pain down here” She touched her jaw.
“I can’t eat something cold. It deprives me of many things that I wanna eat. It comes and then, goes” She explained.
Noel wore his face mask back up again, and laid her down. He touched her jaw.
“Ouch” She Mõ@ɲed.
He looked into her eyes and she looked back.
“It quite sensitive” He whispered.
“Hmm” She nodded.
“Let see how it is, down there. Please, say ah”
Shannon blinked her eyes.
“I should say ah? Gosh. It so embarrassing to open my mouth so widely” She thought.
“Can you open your mouth wide for me?” He asked again and the nurse came closer.
He took the little flashlight from her and waited for Shannon.
Shannon swallowed.
“ah” She whispered.
“I can’t see a thing. Wider”
“Hmm…ahh”
Noel let out a frustrated sigh.
“Please, open it very very wide, if you don’t mind. Well, It might hurt but just bear the pain. I need to know the main issue here”
She breathed.
“aaahh” She muttered, girlishly.
Noel took down his face mask and took his hand backwards, to the nurse.
“Please, hand it over” He said.
She handed a device to him. It was more like a plier.
“Wait. What are you gonna do with th-
“Argh!” She grunted, as her lips tore open with the pliers. It didn’t hurt her though.
Right now, she looks weird and funny with the device which divided her lips, making her mouth so wide.
“I’m sorry but I couldn’t help it. This is much better” He smiled, pointing the flashlight into her mouth.
“You’ve a hole in your wisdom tooth. It has to be removed” He said.
“Will….will it hurt?” She managed to talk with the stuff still between her lips.
“Yeah. But anesthetics will be given to you during the surgery. You don’t have to worry, after some drugs, you’ll fully get back on your feet”
“Noel?” She called.
“Hmm?” He looked at her face.
She stared deeply into his eyes and he returned it.
“Will I get a discount?” She suddenly asked.

Whitney couldn’t sleep that night. Her eyes were on the ceiling. She held her duvet close and inhaled deeply.
“I keep thinking of thinking of those two” She muttered.
“Especially, their confessions” She thought and turned her face to the wall.
Desmond was laying on the bed by that side. He smiled at her and touched her face.
“I love you, sincerely” He whispered.
She stared deeply at him for a while and blinked her eyes. He wasn’t there anymore.
“Gosh! Why am I hallucinating now? This is getting too much” She muttered and turned around.
She gasped when she saw Jayden right there, laying on her bed.
He smiled, and caressing her face to her neck.
“I think I love you” He whispered.
She held her eyes so that their wouldn’t blink. It disobeyed involuntarily and when her eyes finally opened, he was gone.
She breathed in, deeply and looked at the ceiling again.
“Different guys. Different confession. Goodness” She thought and soon fell into deep slumber.
THE NEXT DAY**
“Wow. I love what I’m seeing indeed” Mr Daniels smiled, looking around.

“Have fun. Enjoy. Make friends. Love and Live well” He said and they all clapped.
“The buses are waiting. Hop in. The first 5 groups will board this particular bus and the other 5, that bus” He pointed.
Maureen chuckled, happily. She was in between her two friends, holding their hands.
“Sweethearts, let’s go” She gushed and they all walked away, talking and laughing.

“Whitney?” Jayden called, and waved a little at her. He slowly took his headphones down.
“Go sit with him. He’s your boyfie, after all” Maureen winked and pushed her.
Her butt landed on his laps.

“Why would you apologize to your boyfriend,- Desmond voice came.
“Dear friend?” He completed.
“Dear friend?” Jayden thought, arching his brows.
Whitney quickly stood up from him and looked around. The seats were almost getting filled up.
Jade and Maureen had gone far too.
Whitney sighed and made her way to the next seat close to Jayden.
She sat down instantly. It Was a three seater though.
“Mind if I join you, friend?” Desmond asked.
“Why does he keep calling her that?” Jayden frowned.
Whitney smiled awkwardly, nodding and Desmond walked past Jayden.
“Hey. Watch it!” Jayden snarled.
Desmond ignored him, and walked past Whitney. He sat close to the window.
Now, Whitney is seated in the midst of the 2 guys.
Natalie sat down at the far end, and she was close to the window. Clark sat close to her.
Maureen was so happy when she saw him and joined them.
“Hello, Clark” She smiled at him.
“Hey…” He smiled back.
Natalie took out her earpiece from her bag and placed them into her ears. She played loud music and rested her head down.
“Can I?” John heard somebody say.
He took his head up from his phone and met Jade looking at him sternly.
He adjusted and she sat down.

“Gosh. I’m f_cking hot right now” Whitney muttered. The bus was on the road now.
Her eyes could barely move to the opposite sides. They were glued to the front.
She felt very nervous.
Jayden looked at her and smiled.
He quickly took his head low and kissed her neck.
She gasped and clenched her hands on her jeans shorts tightly.
She prayed no one noticed.
“Pretty cake…” He whispered, still on her neck side.
She held her breath.
“I can wait to have you fully. 8 more days to go for your reply” He smiled at her ear which kind of tickled her.
She shrugged and he slowly took his face from her.
“Pretty cake?” She whispered and a smile ran through her lips, unknowingly.
Desmond looked at her, and took his gaze down.
“I’m quite sad, friend” He thought. his eyes getting misty already.
CHAPTER EPILOGUE**
“I see you are on Facebook…” Jade whispered, looking at John’s phone which he was immersed at
“Huh?” John muttered, and took his eyes to Jade who was smiling.
“I prefer WhatsApp” She shoved her phone to his face.
“Oh” He nodded.
“Should I…just open a Facebook account? I heard the app is quite fun” She whispered, ghostly and he looked at her, again
“Create one for me. You can add yourself too ..” She grinned, suspiciously.
“Okay? Uh…your phone” He said and she handed her phone to him.
John asked her for her number and made her create a password.
“Created. I’ve also added myself up. Here” He handed the phone to her.
“Furck U?” She mumured.
“Your username, is this it? Its quite…funny” She chuckled, whispering.
“Yeah. I like it anyways” He replied.
“I guess the little girl was right after all” She muttered, with a grin.
“Huh?”
“No. I was not talking to you” She shaked her head.
“Alright then…”
“Wait. I think I made a mistake while creating your name. Jade Hawkins, right?” He asked, quickly.
She nodded.
“I omitted the W”
“Its fine She said, calmly.
“As far,,, Its not the account I’m gonna use” She said imwardly the scene darkened immediately, following an eerie sound.
